Dave you are asking people to do something that our own government can't do, namely discuss and come up with a solution.....I guess we do get the government we deserve.Actually, I am seeing a number of folks who thing it is somehow limiting their freedom to not allow them to put others at risk. I am a freedom loving guy, but I definitely disagree here.
So, I'd suggest this: Instead of disagreeing, offer an alternative to the millions of unnecessary injuries and deaths, billions in road construction while delays and drive times are projected to increase, and the billions of lost hours in productivity spent sitting in traffic jams.
It is not enough to disagree. One should be prepared with a DOABLE alternative. My dad (born, 1903) didn't want to give up his horse. He got over it.

Yeah, and we surely got it this time. Elections DO have consequences.

No, I will not come around in ten years.
Why don't we just all stay in our homes wearing bubble suits and helmets? That is surely safe.
You cannot remove every danger in life. Let me guess. Gun control advocate too?

The operative word here is "choice". I do see the positives. But only if it is optional and not mandatory.

I DO enjoy riding my bike and driving my car. And I won't have that taken away by "well meaning" politicians.
I think I can decipher where you come down politically from this thread.

While I can see the benefits, it is not something I want foisted upon me by my government. There is far too much regulation in our lives now.
When I want to jump on my Harley and take a road trip, the last thing I want is to be told that road is off limits to me.
Voluntary participation only, or not at all.

Some people still enjoy the driving "experience". If one chooses an autonomous car, fine. But to force it on everyone smacks of the kind of liberalism this country is deeply mired in now.

Sounds like you are better off letting Bob do the work. I would wait until I could afford the 50 bucks if I were you.

Nice looking rig. Keep us posted on how it sounds.

I'm late to the party. But as has been said, the best bass to come from a cornwall is when it is placed well away from room boundaries. You have other issues.
Shakey

I don't think these will work in a cornwall.
Really digging the cornscalas. Excellent speaker.

I just saw how you have the speakers positioned. Disregard my previous post, any SS "thumper" amp will suffice.
Shakey

None of the above. Find a good low powered tube amp and listen to music, not sounds.

I agree with scrappy. Any time I am considering a substantial online purchase, usually through Audiogon, I get the guy's number and talk on the phone. While not a guarantee of a smooth transaction, you can often get a good feeling about how legitimate the seller is. If someone refuses to have a phone conversation with me, I walk.

Its my wall of sound!!
As long as you aren't after sound quality and just want sheer impact, that should be fine.
Critical listening? Ahem, no sir........

you need to put up the asking price.
He said make an offer. Somebody could get a sweet deal......

High asking prices, but pretty sure it's not what they are actually getting.

I think the Forte is an excellent sounding speaker and you would do well to resurrect them.
Crossover upgrades would surely make them sound better.

Man those are beautiful. Good work!

Bump to the top.......

Not trying to hijack your thread, but how do you like your cornscalas?
Shakey
