Soft Machine is a British band that is one of the pioneers of the Canterbury Sound. It formed in 1966 in Canterbury, England, and initially played a central role in the music scene there.

    Soft machines album “Third “

Is still rated highly and generally voted in the top ten of all time

Paul , coming back to yours and your  friend´s 3 Way X-Over´s .......no resistors are used in such a three way network , can you explain what´s behind ?

His speakers have different high / low htz specks
We had many listening sessions with several different configurations until we came to this setup

My ears were used to fine tune the crossover points

It’s been a while since I was over there and I’m sure no resistors were used in the final build

Look closely at the system photo and you will see a test crossover on top of the speaker 😎

Great Gear, you´ve got my blessings. I would have liked to see the lower side with the wiring management from the X-over

It’s like a road map, similar to my crossovers as the same gentleman built them using my units as a template / guide

Photo is the underside of my crossovers

St Augustine, if they have anywhere big enough would be at that old, old fort or battlement. That would have to be great!!

I believe the show was at a covered amphitheatre in a park about a mile from the coast, close to an alligator farm

They are in Florida at the moment - Show #3 St Augustine

Covid19 Delta is having an impact on crowd numbers - So you may find it easy to get a ticket

If you have the chance - You need to go or you will regret procrastinating about it 🤘

Just heard that Kansas violinist has passed away

    info from wiki

Robert Eugene Steinhardt (May 25, 1950 – July 17, 2021) was an American rock violinist and singer best known for his work with the group Kansas, for which he was co-lead singer/"frontman" and MC along with keyboardist Steve Walsh, from 1973 to 1982 and from 1997 to 2006.

He and Steve Walsh were the only original members of the band not from Topeka.

Hope everyone is doing well...   Things good here..........outside of my central AC failing in the spring.  But, I have gotten used to the heat we are having.   Hard to sleep when it is 88 degrees and fans just blow around hot air on you .  New system going in on Aug. 23rd.   Can't wait !

Genesis Side THREE coming right up 👍

That is comforting heat where we live in the subtropics

Opposite for us - it’s hard to get used to the cold 🥶🤪

that guitar riff at the beginning sounds very prog.

Can’t believe I have had this album for 50years

I would have been 12 when I got it - also probably just starting high school,
