  4. This album is an oldie but a goodie Yes a very good album to lift one’s mood up ( if required) Artist - Herbie Hancock Title - Headhunters Columbia US pressing from 1973 ID — KC 32731 Extra info This version is the Pitman pressing variation and can be identified by the arrangement of and the typesetting on the labels and by the runout groove etchings.
  5. Think that was the first Frank Zappa album I purchased then I added more 😈 Now the back story is that in my youth I lived in the suburb of Glendale at the time If you know the album you will know that Glendale is featured in the narrative
  6. A great album Back in the day I was a roadie for a band that played Neil Young and James Taylor music
  7. The only other Bob Dylan album currently in the collection is a live album Some like it some hate it But it takes some songs to the extremes You could say over and out of the norm Artist- Bob Dylan Title - Hard Rain
  8. Here you go Artist - Deep Purple Title - 24 Carat Purple Tracklist 1. Woman From Tokyo (5:49)2. Fireball (3:26)3. Strange Kind Of Woman (9:14)4. Never Before (4:02)5. Black Night (live) (4:59)6. Speed King (5:52)7. Smoke On The Water (live) (7:29)8. Child In Time (live) (12:19)
  9. A marathon is a 3 LP release But this one is a great listen on a retrospective body of work Artist - Bob Dylan Title - Masterpieces
  10. A wife will always find something- shhhhh
  11. One other issue that may impact the soundwave timing is slow lumbering bass If one is to use an active subwoofer that subwoofer should have high sensitivity - let’s say over 95db
  12. Agreed Verve and Blue Note Records are great pressings
  13. Just spinnin* some Bop / Jazz Playing before the wife takes over with Christmas decorations Artist - Ella Fitzgerald Title - Ella In Berlin Mack The Knife
  14. Red is a great album Mike @dirtmudd also loves it ( think it is his favourite)

  19. Great spinning fellas 🎶👌
  20. I personally prefer accuracy and balanced bass But that could also be due to the music style I listen to - eg Prog , Jazz, classical , 70s 80s rock And the bass bin has plenty of bass for me If one prefers modern music that has copious amounts of low bass, then the bass bin won’t be enough Then I agree that an active sub would be preferable
  21. Reposting this again Just deserves another spin 😎 don’t you think A brilliant first record that is still a favourite to this day No introduction nessasary ? Artist - The Jimi Hendrix Experience Title - Are You Experienced USA 1st Pressing RS6261 - 1967
  22. I see you are a new member and welcome to the Klipsch community This information was posted on the previous page But I will repost it again just for you 😎 However and please NOTE - the outside measurements of the bass extension need to coincide with the bass / dog box of your speakers I have measured the Bass extension cabinet of my La Scalas that were built by the Original Poster - @sootshe Edit The bass drivers in this build are Crites Some people prefer the tube length to be 7” to 7.5” when using the original klipsch bass drivers
  23. I use a mirror protractor that I got from EBay But that is for a tangential arm
  24. @JohnJ A quick brief The timber outside the cover area will be cut away and the inside will be routed to sink the turntable flush It will match the dimensions of the plinth frame underneath Measurements are Inside - 400 mm x 310 mm Outside - 464 mm x 374mm ********* Originaly I was thinking to cut away everything outside the cover However it does look good to have that offset reverse L on the right side So I have decided to have a 33 mm ( about 1.5” ) up to 40 mm offset border I can achieve this by cutting the rectangle plinth frame on the wide flat side The feet are round alloy with an O ring embedded into the base and they will screw into the underframe
  25. Its almost midnight here But the colour looks like - Sela Brown and the name rings a bell 🛎
