I got my RW-12D Saturday. I can genuinely say that this is the first Klipsch speaker that has ever let me down. The bass is way too boomy for my liking. I got a killer deal off eBay so this experiment didn't cost me that much and I already have it listed on craigslist. This Reference 12" isn't in the same league as the older RSW-10 that I made the mistake of selling about a year ago.
how much are you wanting for it?
If you don't like the sound of two RW-12d's in your system, what makes you think you will like three? I am not trying to be a butt head but if you are considering a third one for your rig, you may be adding to the "problem".

Trying to get an idea how much mine are worth?

I have the un65f9000 and I love the tv. the last tv I had was un55c6000 which will be going in the garage soon. I like the 4k resolution on my pc, I have streamed some 4k video from Netflix, but id like to watch whole movies and what not. what 4k disks are you talking about? what do you use to play them? ps3 (which I have) and the ps4, as far as I understand it, do not support 4k resolution. sonys media server that streams 4k is only compatible with sony tvs. I am a fan of Samsung though.

Does anyone have any 4k video? Or know where to get it? I got a samsung 65 4k tv and need media!

I read through a good bit of the first pages of this thread. seems like folks want to find the cheapest place to get the 7s. I looked quite a while before I bought mine, I got b stock, even though the sticker didn't say it, my b stock 64 said that it was b stock. but I purchased mine off ebay for about 1800. if you follow this guy on ebay, he will eventually sell another set of cherry b stock. they start at 2400, but eventually he will give a 21 percent discount on his listing. he only gives 20 percent on his black set. don't know why the difference, but I liked the cherry better to begin with, so I was even happier.
mine arrived in factory boxes, they looked just as everyone else's box that I have seen on here. I looked all over the speakers, front back sides and found not one scratch. cones are in perfect shape, I cannot find any imperfection. if you have time to spare, and the money sitting, just keep an eye on this guys listings. it is by far the cheapest I have seen. his shipping is great as well. came strapped to a pallet, no damage at all. free shipping, I have no complaints at all.

If my opinion counts, the RW-12d(RW-10d) is not the most musical sub out there. Good for HT, not so good for tight, fast, and punchy bass.
Truthfully, your RF-7II rig deserves better subwooferage.
Do you have a budget in mind? Honestly my budget is what i can get out of the subs i currently have.
How large is your room in ft3? I will have to check it out when i get home after work. it is a pretty dang small room though.
Is your main system more for music or HT? A good mixture of both. But in the end, i love bass.
Bill
and by love bass thats pretty much an understatement. i used to have 156 db system in my truck back when i had money to blow on that type of stuff.

basically they dont sound as good as i want. there seems to be some sort of port noise. i have 2 of them on a hk 1710, both ports were loose and i reattached them. klipsch really dropped the ball on these subs! i also have a single ksw15 if i remember right. thinking about selling them all and getting a different sub or subs, what do you all recomend? any way to make the rw12-d sound better?

imagine the clowns stealing it as well.

sorry man, I have some b3s or maybe b2s that I am giving to a friend. I like the full tower speakers better.

i think the care and knowlege of this forum far surpasses what i have seen in other forums. i an new here obviously, but i had the klipsch itch for several years now. im sure you all will refrain from making it worse. haha
