  3. now, with the right setting, thanks to Coytee, the sound amazing
  4. and with these settings, they sound amazing. The combination of KHJ + 501, beamed, eq-ed and crossed at 400 hz works great
  5. Right, but what are the settings for the Dx38 with a Jubilee 2 way active? (KJH + 510) Regards, Godfried
  6. if someone is willing to pay for the shipping, we will. It;s a big shame the Jub's are still waiting to do their job...
  7. Hi Juniper and Tom, they actually sound very good, i love them, but since we can't use them in our culture cooperation, and since my home is to small, they are, with regrets in my heart, better off living with somebody else. Juniper, what do you mean with Roy's settings exactly. Regards, Godfried
  8. In the end, we never used them, changed our plans, so they are for sale right now it's a pity, but we hope some else will be happy with them. If interested, they are in the Garage sale section
  9. It's a pitty, we've bought them, but our plans have changed so they will be beter off with somebody else. No X-over, so bi-amping is the way to go. Located in Europe, the Netherlands. for more information: https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/157982-bi-amping-a-jubilee-510/ https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/147806-jubilees-for-sale-sold/?hl=%20jubilee if interested, send a pm regards, Godfried
  10. Hi Chris, thanks for all the information you've given us. I think we have a beautiful lady in the house, now looking for the best place to give her the best sound. regards, Godfried
  11. Hi Chris, it's just all black, no sticker whatshowever, just flat, 3 allen screws, plus and minus... see the pics
  12. Thanks for the information about the Jubilee's. At the moment we're figuring out what to do with them. We have them active crossovered now at 600z and sound delicious. EQ-ing is indeed necessary. The sub might be more, but unfortunately, they don't sell the Danley super spud DIY kit anymore, at least not in Holland. So for our main room we stick with the MCM stack. (Thanks Michael). And indeed, it are prototypes, there's no branding on the K510, just a part number 130702 (which i can't find on the web), and there are cables coming out (but cut off) in the mouth of the horn. So pretty unique regards, Godfried
  13. one more question, on our Klipsch Jubilee the part number on the horn is 132003, which is the K-510 HORN PAINTED, but the back of the driver is without any stickers or branding. There's a small part number saying 130702. Does any body know what driver this is? Regards, Godfried
  14. Hi Chris, thanks for this update. The problem is, we have to position them with their backs to the long side of our venue, , so I understand what you mean. We're gonna try and work it out. May be tis means that they'll go to our upperroom, there's a possibility to place them (on risers) along the wall. Regards, Godfried
  15. Hi Chris, thanks for the reply, So the rolling riser needs to have a baffle, The crossover between KHJ and 510 will be at 600 hz and 24db Lower than the MWM bins is nice, so may be we even don't need seek for subwoofers. So we will start 2 way. The super spuds (Danley dts10) are not for sale in the Netherlands, nobody uses them over here, and the DIY packet is no longer for sale You're remark about a boundery I don't understand, can you explain please. regards, Godfried
  16. Hi everyone We (culture cooperation Brebl in Nijmegen, the Netherlands) just bought this "secret jubilee". I think it will be a great sounding setup. One pair, no x-overs. We want to use it for amplifying bands and disco (techno, garage, house etc....) , in an old warehouse of approximately 250m2 and around 350 persons? Will she serve? Any thoughts? Eventually we even want to use her as a replacement for our very big but old MCM set, but will she give us the right bass sound, or shall we keep the MWM bins and ditch the mid/high of the MCM stack? She was sold to us as being a prototype. To me she looks like a Jubilee KHJ and a 510. We've bought her unseen (apart from the pics) and we know there's no x-over, so we'd better bi-amp her. We've got a nice dvx x-over and 2 inkel M420 (100w 8 ohm, 150w 4 ohm). But will that be enough. If she's a real KHJ, the bass amp can be 400w. (Am i right?) The big question is the crossover frequency. Another question. Since the mid/high is I presume around 1,5m hight, does any body know what will happen if we put her on a rolling risers, let's 50 cm up. Otherwise all the sound is going in the first row of dancing people. regards, Godfried Any input is more than welcome.

What will be the ideal crossover frequency and what kind of amplification is needed? Any input is more than welcome.
  19. thank you for the input, we're gonna give the setup a try tonight, not rigged to the ceiling, but just as it is. And i'm gonna fiddle around with the crossover frequency for the MSSM. If we're gonna ring it, is it really necessary to hang them above each other, or kan we ring them beside each other. We ave obtained a Driverack 260, so we'll be able to use other filterslopes. regards, Godfried
  20. Hi DJK, thank you for the reply. we know how to do it, but the question is, is it wise to do it? In modern setups (sub / tops) the crossover point is mostly max 150hz, often lower. But with the MCM 1900, the crossover between MWM and up is set to 350hz. Would it be wise to fly them, sound wise. Does anybody know if this is done, can we lower the crossover frequency, or will that damage the MSSM? regards, Godfried
  21. nobody? or wrong forum? regards, on behalf of the Culture Cooperation Brebl, Godfried
  22. We (an volunteer driven cultural centre in the Netherlands) acquired a good working MCM1900 system (the touring version with handles and aluminium rims). 4 way, so MWM, MSSM, MSM & MTM (the 5 piece Motorola version). This is for our venue (33ft wide * 60ft * 12 ft high) for 300 persons. Mostly used for dj's with hardcore, techno etc. We use a Rane MA6 6*100w amp and a DBX 234 XL crossover, at 350hz and 1khz. Linkwitz-Riley 24 dB per octave filters. The gain for the MWM and MSSM are set to 0db, the gain for the MSM is set to -6 db. The MTM is coupled to the MSM. The sound and volume are incredible. But for a better reach, spread and for flexibility in the venue we like to fly everything except the MWM. Is there any experience how to do this. The doubts are in the high crossover from the MWM to the MSSM. Any one with other, better ideas is welcome. Also other frequency's etc. regards, on behalf of the Culture Cooperation Brebl, Godfried
  23. Hi Greg, we're the proud to become owners of a nice MCM 1900 stack, but without the crossovers. This is for a 300m2 venue in Holland. We're gonna do jazz, dance en disco on this stack. So either we go active or passive, and for the moment passive seems the best way, although active is the fastest way. Or would you recommend anything else. Do you still have your crossovers for sale? regards, Godfried
