  1. My choices are upgrade my tv from a 27" pos, to a 47" Widescreen Panasonic. Or my other option is finish up my audio. This would mean upgrading my pos stereo reciever to a Denon and getting my rears and sub. I have the SC-1 and SF-1s already. Either way its going to cost about the same amount of money. Everything will be bought over the next few months anyway. This weekend I have the $$ to finish up the audio, or finish up the video. What would YOU do? ken
  2. Ziggy Marly has a live show dvd in DTS, I love this show it gets played alot here. and Phish have a tour documentry...Bittersweet Motel that also is in DTS. I enjoy both a bunch.
  3. hey dudes, Im getting ready to buy a hdtv 47" widescreen and had a question about using it with a Tivo. I dont own the Tivo yet either. Say I set the Tivo to record a show broadcast in HDTV, when I go to replay it, will I be viewing it in high definition? or does the Tivo cut back on the quality some? I work alot of late evenings and probably will miss most the programming broadcast in hdtv. Just curious if this will be an option that might work for me.. many thanks phishken
  4. I wish pictures didnt disappear so fast around here, surely bandwidth cant be that bad. Sounds like an interesting project. ~phish~
  5. I found a dead rat in my garage once ~phish~
  6. That should have worked for you. Try another burning software - I like NTI Burning Software. I believe its available at www.downloads.com It allows me to play mp3s on my Zenith. Good luck. ken
  7. Klipsch will only stand behind it for 30 days, then the customer must take responibility for YOUR screw ups? This is absurd, specially with people having problems within 2 months of purchase. Im halfway thru piecing together a Synergy home theater system. If I have troubles, is this the kind of service Im going to recieve? Im wishing I had read this stuff before I've spent over a $1,000 with Klipsch so far. Maybe Ive made a mistake? Even though I am not running promedia this is extremely distressing to see customers treated as such.
  8. dude, go establish a line of credit somewhere else, seriously its not that hard. And its definately worth it if you can pick from different companies. ~phish~
  9. residentual window tinting is the way to go. A neighbor has all his windows done and it looks very nice from the inside and out. About every decent city will have residentual tinters. ~phishken~
  10. Hey guys, they ARE listed as authorized dealer on Klipsch's site. I decided to go ahead and place the order COD. I spoke with them on the phone today and feel okay with them.. Thanks for the thoughts. ~phishken~
  11. Around 100 degrees is pretty avagerage for me. I use one of the copper heatsinks on my chip. I agree with the Ear, in that good air flow is also a must. For $10 in fans you can achieve that. Get front and rear intake and exhaust. ~phishken~
  12. very cool tv stand. Im wondering what you used as the feet? Its hard to tell from the photos. cheers, ~phishken~
  13. Hi friends, very cool site just ran into this forum after buying a pair of SF-1s. The last 5 years the only speakers in my house were an Altec Lansing computer set. Life is good and these Klipsch are rocking me very well. Looking to add the SC-1 into the setup this week. EarthStations.com has an excellent price on this speaker. The company shows up on Klipsch Dealer List, but its says Parts Acct under the company name. Has anyone done business with them? Anything I should know? thanks tons, ~phishken~
