I've been Vaping for 4 years, gave up cigs on the very first day and never looked back.
Vaping does NOT produce SMOKE--it might look like smoke but it is not.
My house, car and clothes do not smell from vaping like it did from cigs..
My health is much improved since I quit smoking.
People who are against vaping do not understand vaping.
I doubt that it affects you electronics or lasers.
It doesn't linger in the room because it's NOT SMOKE.
There is not a Tar residue that settles on items like with cigs because there is not any tar.
A vape is the best way to quit smoking without health risk.
Extensive health studies have been done in England where doctors
recommend this as a tool to get people to stop smoking.

Oh, yeah--If a dude looks like a lady he should use the bathroom he feels more comfortable with.
Well, I don't think I'd pass for a Lady unless one of us is Smashed.

That's the kind of advice I'm looking for. I really want a 75" screen but those 65's with the really sharp vivid picture have me re-thinking my priorities.
You get a fancy TV and I bet you order MORE cable channels.

The rest of us feel sorry for you.
I have a 42 inch. Any bigger and we'd have to do the head movement thing too.
I guess it keeps the blood pumping.

I do have 200 mbs service but rural WV is not the big market internet that companies are looking for. I need to get Fox News, a couple of ESPN's and NBC, CBS, ABC, Fox for the sports broadcasts. Past that I don't really care, but I would love to cut the cable! OTA I get four stations, three of them are PBS.
I've tried a couple of internet carriers like SlingTV but they are MUCH more limited than their advertising would lead you to believe. YoutubeTV looks like what I want but we can't get Youtube TV just yet, it's just for the big cities so far.
The trouble with your Local Stations and this includes PBS,
They do not broadcast in HD.

My cable channels are 1080--720--and a few in 480.
What's the point in buying a UHD ?

She was mad that I bought the last one in 2008. She didn't see anything wrong with our 19" RCA tube TV.
This is the same wife who says she can't hear any difference between an AM radio and the speaker setup you see in the picture of our living room ^^^.
10 Years is pretty good for today's TV

Get a decent smart tv so that you can stream youtube, amazon, netflix, etc. You will quit cable once you start using these services.

Just to be fair to old people, I know a few Queen songs,
never owned a Queen Album or listened to one.
Don't really like Journey or Foreigner and don't feel I'm missing alot.
I have been to a Wayne Newton Show---What a Man.

Sorry to resurrect but I wanted to thank those who contributed to this thread and share some info. I just upgraded the domes on my Synergy B-3’s with PRV D230ti’s and couldn’t be happier.
The bolt to screw on adapters mentioned in this thread are no longer available but Bob Crites over at https://critesspeakers.com/ has an alternative that works, just email him. You still need to drill new holes in the adapter.
The crossover on the Synergy B-3 is 2050Hz so the horn driver carries a lot of range. The Eminence driver mentioned in this thread starts at 2500Hz so don't use that driver. The PRV D230 driver starts at 1600Hz and has a suggested crossover of 2000Hz so it works perfect. The PRV is more sensitive than stock but I do not feel that resistors are needed to lower it (sounds great to me on a 2.1 system). The stock driver weighs nothing. The new driver is 2 pounds but the horn and 8 mounting bolts handle the weight fine.
My measurements for anyone else with Synergy B-3’s –
5 ¼ inch from the front of the horn to the rear port (total space)
2 ¼ inch horn length without driver (minus the total space gives you 3 inches until you hit the rear port)
1 inch stock driver
With the PRV driver and bolt to screw adapter there is a little over an inch of clearance compared to the 2 inches of clearance stock.
Thanks for this info, I am using the Eminence driver and have had zero issues and my Synergies sound great.
I had a limited space to work with and everything came out fine.
It's been 3 years and I'm glad to have removed the horrible sounding tweeters that came with this speaker.
I'm gonna look up that driver you used also, you know, we like to tinker and improve.
Thanks for the info.

I bought a refurbed and it has been great.
I really like the sound from a Denon and it has so many options
you can really customize your sound for your room.
I guess brand preference is for each person's taste.
Take a look at this one--similar to mine.
Next time I need an AVR I will buy another Denon from them.

Funny--Everyone is always willing to help anyone with their audio/video issues.
Everyone has to learn what they have and need--does it ever get old.
This was a good discussion.
How many times have we discussed this with one person or another?
ABOUT 1 MILLION TIMES--HAHAHA

No bass is a major issue in a center.
That's just my opinion.

Thanks for the info, I already know this information.
All I'm saying is a Power Amp of 2 to 300 Watts is
Not Required to enjoy most Klipsch Speakers.
If you have the money to buy a amp, go for it but
the lack of a power amp should not stop you from
buying the speakers of your choice.

I don't believe that you need that much power to run RF 7's.
Many people use them with an AVR.

My Amp went out in the sub and I have it in storage.
If I need to get an external amp I have the box and driver ready.
The amp from Polk cost more than a new PSW 505.
200 for a new sub.
I like the sound of my system without the sub.

You could try a can of compressed air and see if
blowing the dust out helps.
Then quit eating chips and pushing the button without cleaning yur hands.

Where are you located? I am sure someone local might be able to come over and assist with the setup,
I think that has been the question of the day in this post.

I have my own testimony and no one can take that from me.
Vaping is not smoking regardless of what anyone can say.
I use American made products, that are food and pharmaceutical grade quality.
I do not use products from foreign countries where quality is questionable.
I guess you'd rather have me go back to cigarettes.
