  1. 4977 I was typing my reply at the same time you made your post, It sounds like I might have a chance here!! Funny how we were both thinking of doing the same type of thing for our center channels. I really appreciate you reply it's answered alot of questions. i guess I can't go wrong for $85, Keeping that internal volume issue the same might require a bit more thinking. Thanks again Craig
  2. Thanks again Boa, Anybody else out there in Klipsch land with any info? Will I need anything besides's the woofers horn and internals to make a good center channel? has anybody tried this is it even feasible? Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks Craig
  3. Thanks for the quick reply Boa, I was wondering if the KLF-10 has everthing internally I need for a good center? Is there any kind of cross over in the C-7 that I need or would everything inside the KLF-10 work? Any Idea's? Craig
  4. I can pick up a single KLF-10 with pretty bad scratches and no grill for $85, I was wondering If anybody ever thought about trying to build a center out of one of the legend series? Could I use all the existing components in the KLF-10 to make a good center? I pretty sure I could make a quality cabinet to house the 2 10's and the horn, Would this be a better match than say the KLF-C7? Or am I crazy to even think about It? Anybody have any thoughts/Ideas that would make this work? 5. Just keep playing them they get better and better over time. I don't know how your room set up but the closer to the walls you put them the more bass they'll put out. And if you haven't done it yet make sure you have your center channel tilted up or down towards the listening position BIG difference. 6. I assumed that the 10 went lower in HZ than the 20 and 30 in that order due to the cabinet size. Could be wrong though. Craig
  7. HELP QUICK!!! I can't find sound advice website please post link!!! Thanks Craig
  8. Would the RS-7 be a better match for the Legend series than the KSP-S6's Thanks Craig
  9. It wasn't under warranty, I bought it used off a guy and he wasn't intereseted when i told him it broke. But i plan on replacing it. I do have a question about the 15, i haven't bought it yet but was wondering about using the Y splitter. It has a singlr LFE in as well as L/R in and out's, are you just ignoring the LFE and running it right into the L/R in's? Thanks Craig
  10. BLOOMIS914, we talked about adding a sub to your surrounds a couple months ago!! Remember? Unfortunatly mine KSW10 took a crap, but it was nice while it lasted. Craig
  11. I've got the same set up as you K9K TROY except for the KLF 20 I have the 30's thanks for your opinion. Craig
  12. I can pick up the KSW15 for $499 new from an authorized dealer. I'd like to know how many people really like this sub or how many people wished theyed have bought something different? I'd be running it with the Legend series and Yamaha reciever. Thanks Craig
  13. If i'm not mistaken doesn't the 5800 allow you to run 2 pair of surround speakers? Why don't you hook up both pairs as surrounds and switch between the two to see which sounds better to you? I'd imagine that they both have advantages and disadvantages over the other. Good Luck Craig
  14. I currently have a huge wall unit that takes up the entire front of my living room besides on the very ends where i have my Klipsch KLF 30, There slightly toed in and that doesn't even leave an inch left in each corner. So i was wondering if i pulled them out and placed my sub behind one of them obviously i'd pull them both out to the same distance and recalibrate using my spl meter; would that affect how they sound or would the sub make up for any loss and not make it noticeable? My living room extends into dining room with a huge sideboard against the rear wall so no corners way back there either. I currently have a SVS 20-39CS and samsom 700 amp on order and everybody reccommends they be placed in the corner that's the reason for my question; If it sounds good an additional SVS will be added later for the other corner. If this isn't a good idea does anybody have any other idea's how i can get over my (sub) in the corner placement problem? Thanks Craig
  15. To reply to the original post!! I just ordered my SVS 20-39CS with the Samsom 700 Amp and can hardly wait to get it. i'll be running it with My Legends. Craig
  16. Yes it's an authorized dealer. Craig
