  1. This sub worked great with my RC-64ii
  2. I have a few questions about MCACC. I am trying to A/B a couple sets of speakers in my basement. Unfortunately, every time I run MCACC it is never the same. 1. How do I shut it off entirely? 2.When running MCACC my la scalas lose midrange. How do I fix this? 3. When running MCACC my CF-4s have too much midrange... All I want to do is hear this setup in its purest form. Thanks!
  3. Sorry I didn't think you had done this. I still think it's your room geometry. I don't think removing the fireplace or half walling it will have any effect. Check out this paper for the Room Proportions. Room Proportions extract from DOPE from HOPE!!!_searchable.pdf
  4. I completely agree about the room placement and dimensions being the problem. However, you also changed your mids, tweeters AND crossovers. Just by doing that there is no way it would sound the same as you heard it. Try going back to stock in your room and see what happens.
  5. Someone buy this subwoofer and simply add this little setup and you are good to go! https://slickdeals.net/f/10230784-klipsch-reference-5-speaker-bundle-pair-of-rp-280f-floors-pair-of-rp-160m-bookshelves-rp-450c-center-1299-free-shipping
  6. Why is this still here?!? No one has bought this yet?
  7. Good luck with your sale! I love my R-115! If I needed another one I would definitely be buying this one.
  8. Still looking for a single La Scala. Or is there anyone out there that would like to split a pair?
  9. I just picked up an Academy center that I am using while I wait to find a single La Scala. It sounds good, but I'm honestly not convinced it sounds better than just the la scalas. I will have to try this for a little longer to make a decision. It does however sound much better than my RC64II did with these. It is a much closer match.
  10. Thanks guys! @Youthman I just sent you a PM
  11. OK, so I have La Scalas as my main home theater speakers and they sound great with my Pioneer elite SC-68 for movies. However, sometimes I would just like to listen to 2 channel (with a sub) through a tub amp. The 2 channel on the Elite is OK, but it does not allow me to use my subs in stereo mode. Short of having to switch the wires every time I want to do this, is there a speaker switcher I can use to keep them both hooked up? The same goes for the subwoofer. Thanks!
  12. @Schu I actually just sold my RC64II and use the la scalas without it until I can find an appropriate heritage center. I swear it sounds like there is a center channel there. The way the La Scalas image and the way my Pioneer Elite SC-68 has corrected for the lack of center is amazing.
  13. My goal is to get a single la scala whenever I can find one within driving distance
  14. I had an RC-64II. It was great with my RF7IIs but sounded a bit bright with the La Scalas
  15. OK I tried this out last night. I think I actually like it better without the center. The voices are huge now!
  16. Does anyone here run their La Scalas in their home theater with a Phantom center? I'm just curious what everyone thinks of the sound. I am going to try it this evening and see how it works out.
  17. No one is interested in RF7IIs anymore?
  18. @Klipschgrillguy76 Where are you located?
  19. @Schu What is normal? For the Pioneer to read it as out of phase? Since I switched the wires around is it now out of phase or was the crossover switched?
  20. I updated the price. Bump!
