I've wanted one for almost 2 years, but was too chicken to buy it. I think I'll be able to get one in a few months if everything works out. The Palladiums set me back a little now, but I'd love to use the A-S3000 to drive them. I hope it's not replaced just after I get one. I had a Yamaha R-2000 in college, gave it to a friend, and love the looks and great reviews on the sound.

Thank you very much for the welcome! Everyone here has been superb. Thank you for making me feel at home. I've loved Klipsch forever, had RB-5's many years ago, had and sold Cornwall III's (I am sorry that I did). And now can't get enough.

Awesome, thank you.

I did, from Audiogon. But they do not come with stands.

What do you guys recommend for the Palladium P17-b speakers and where do I get them? I just ordered a pair of the bookshelf P17-b and hope to see them next week.

Good luck with the sale. Amazing deal.

Bump. What did you finally end up getting newbie? I bought a pair of the RP-160M and couldn't be happier. These little guys can play and are breaking in nicely. They've already gotten a little smoother and a little more coherent overall. Outstanding speakers. Your Quicksilver amp should be stellar on them. I've already tried my Jolida Fusion 3502 and my Bryston 28bsst2's. Both awesome in different ways.

What a great way to start a new year! Klipsch RP-160M's ....

Just for fun I hooked up my Bryston 28BSST2's to my RP-160M's. The same preamp is being used, a Conrad Johnson GAT. The Jolida Fusion 3502 was only being used as an amp. Different presentation for sure. The 28's have tremendous control and bass. It feels like they go a little lower. The amps are dead cold and need to warm up. But so far, amazing! -
I agree about not liking the direction, but if it gets worse, I'm out.

Hi Happy new year to you too. I love streaming Tidal. I also love Spotify, Pandora, Radio Tunes and a few other services. I use my computer, a Wyred 4 Sound modified Sonus player and mostly a Lumin streaming player with built in support for Tidal. It's wonderful. Sounds awesome and I have the world at my fingertips.

The LS50 might be a little wider in the sound stage, but I'd have to go back to them to find out. I am having way too much fun with the Klipsch to go back to the KEF right now . One thing I have to say is from another room, the Klipsch sound amazing. Like the band in the room, literally. Speakers that sound incredible in the next room to me, in my opinion, usually sound better in the same room too. -

Will do! The RP-160M sound more alive! A lot smoother than I expected. I am using my Jolida Fusion 3502 with KT150 right now and am super impressed. -

Duh, now realizing you don't have to spend a ton of money to get great sound. Thank you Klipsch. I am back -
Without you guys, I may not have taken the plunge. Thank you all for advice, help and recommendations. Wishing you a very Happy and Safe New Year. I just received my Klipsch RP-160M and with only a few songs on these babies, I am very happy. More to come. Yesterday I also got the KEF LS50. I have to say both are great. The little "bigger actually" RP-160M's are pretty awesome. There's a ton of fun in small packages.
