  1. I owned these speakers.  You need a 4ohm amp. I had a marantz AV receiver and got a nice emotiva sa-250 amp to power them.  You would just run your preouts on your AV receiver to the power amp. Just as a personal opinion I'd recommend going with a nice heresy over these. Not that p17-bs aren't nice but if your are looking for the classic klipsch sound these arent for that.

  2. Prices not including shipping

    k55V - $100 for the pair

    k77 - $75 for the pair

AA crossover (needs to be recapped) $100 for the pair

K-500 Horn - $300 for the pair (including motor board if wanted or I can remove the horns and just ship them

  3. I have upgraded my Belle Klipsch's with a mix of Crites and Volti parts (Crolti? Voites?).  Now I have my old AA crossovers, K-77 tweets, K-500 horns including the grill assembly and cloth and badges, and k-55V drivers.  All are in working order.  The crossovers probably need to be recapped.  I've attached some pictures if you want more/better let me know.  I still have the box that my Volti horns came in so I'm good to ship all this. I was thinking $500 for everything (not including shipping).  The grill separated a little when I removed them but its an easy fix. I'm located in northern CA.

  4. I've been listening to them over the last couple of weeks in my Belles (crites ct120 with crites xover) and it sound buttery smooth, full, clear, and most of all easy to listen to at even the loudest levels. It actually makes me close my eyes and really listen to the music which I didn't have the desire to do with the stock k55. Best upgrade for the cost by far.

  5. So I'm almost done with my Belle conversion to crites and volti parts (Crolti? Voites?) So I have 1973ish AA crossovers (need to be recapped), K-55-V mid, K-77 tweets, the k-501? Horn, plus the motorboard with cloth intact. What would be a reasonable price as a package? I can add pics tonight if it helps. Thanks.

  6. Getting out of the tube hobby.  No time or place to enjoy it with 3 girls in the house that cant be bothered with manually turning on a switch. Anyways I am selling a custom made Aricaudio "The Unlimited" tube preamp as well as all the tubes I've collected over the last year.  Also included is the Tube depot Tubecube storage container with a complete replacement set of pluck and pull foam.  I'd like to sell this all as one set and not part it out.  Asking $500 for everything!!  The Unlimited new is $725 and the tubes are low market at $875. I am located in northern CA.  If you want more info or better pics feel free to pm me and I can email over more.

  7. Original owner. Only 6 months old. Over 4 years left on the warranty. Just like new. Have original box, packaging, and manual. As you can see in the attached picture I was using them to drive my p-17b's.  I have since traded for some Belles and no longer need so much power. They are still in use but if needed I can pull them out and do over alls. Asking $1000 and buyer to pay shipping, these are super heavy. Local pickup available (Im just outside Sacramento)
