Hi,
Just installed a set of self powered speakers R51 PM. The speakers are connected to my laptop docking station via USB.
My problem is that the sound is biased to the the left. This is annoying. I mostly listen to music and the left speaker is more loud.
Settings, balance are ok.
Do you have any idea of the source of the problem ?
Thank you in advance.

I had this issue with my Forte IIIs. I solved it by adjusting speaker placement. A little adjustment goes a loooong way.

That P6 is a great piece of kit. Part of me wants to just get a P5 or 6 and pair it with a B&K 442 or Bryston 4bst (both of which are for sale near me at reasonable prices) and see what happens!!!
I highly recommend it. That would he a great combo.

I recently purchased the Node 2i. Currently using the RCA outs to Parasound P6 and Rotel power amp. Is a definate upgrade over my Marantz SR7012 internal DAC and the Bluesound OS is super easy to use. I highly recommend it.

More pics and your location?

As a current owner I would give my vote for Forte III. Smooth, clean, and strong bass. Smaller footprint than Cornwalls

Hmmmm...guess I need to find some that can let me audition the Jubes.....

Im still saving up for my preamp. If these are still for sale when its time to buy amps I will grab these...

That seems like a smoking deal. Are these warm tubey sounding??

If I hadnt decided to go with Jubilees I would grab those in a heartbeat. I miss my Bells so bad. GLWYS those will be a treat for someone.

What exactly was your process for stripping, sanding, and cleaning. I need to achieve that finish on my LaScalas

I see he lowered his price. He had those at 1500. Looks like a clean pair

I think I may just leave it alone and enjoy the patina....

What app are you using to access your FLAC files on your NAS? This was my issue a bit over a year ago. I gave up. Wondering if things have gotten better. Can you please tell me your NAS to device hardware/software chain? I have zero issue with the music once I actually get it to play, but almost no luck with FLAC files playing via Hi-Fi Cast and other. I've got a Qnap with a few different media serving devices DLNA and the like....but I do not have PLEX.
To be clear I have zero interest in streaming music from the Internet. I want to play my files on my NAS on my network. Things like Sonos, Popcorn Hour, OPPO, WD, just about anything that can see my NAS works great throughout my house with the exception of Chromecast Audio, Google Home, <Insert> Phone App (tired several).
Using BubbleUPNP. It links to Tidal, Spotify, and my NAS. You can make mixed playlists between the three. I have a Synology NAS and am using the Synology music server app to serve up the FLAC

Have mine hooked up to a flea watt chinese amp to La Scalas. I stream Tidal and flac files from my NAS with zero issues. Sound quality is excellent (I am connected using RCA). Guessing it might be even better if I had an awesome DAC and connected over optical...

Been enjoying my La scalas. They are a bit stained/dirty? I tried the beeswax/orange paste wipe on wipe off and didnt really notice a difference. Do i need to sand/buff and then what to seal it? They are raw birch and i love that look so want to keep that look and not stain/color/tint them.....
Any advice???

DE120. The titanium drivers sound too harsh to my ears. The CT120 (Crites version) are super detailed bit smooth

Weight of the soul

The whole idea of a soul is a man made concept. People already beleive they have a soul then search their entire lives for a way to prove it. It is an unquantifiable thing. The modern day "soul searchers" are akin to the alchemists of the dark ages, knowing they can make lead into gold and wasting their entire lives in the search to prove it....
