  1. my room isn't big and it will be an almost impossible fit for me to get the Belles - but... - when you see those beautiful Belles they are very tempting to try and figure out how they can fit. these look perfect and under $2000 and 5 minutes from my house. I love my Fortes - replaced with Crites crossovers and tweets and mid diaphrams and also have custom cane grills that look the bomb - they fit perfectly in living room next to my massive HSU sub - the bug bites hard lol Debating if i should go see these in person or not - temptation is a good and bad thing
  2. A pair of very clean Belles just came up for sale locally. I love my Fortes but how do Belles compare?
  3. I'll drive it the speed limit - I promise.
  4. But what a gorgeous American world class sports car.
  5. My dream car at LA auto show Wednesday c7 Corvette Grand Sport
  6. I guess it depends on if you are a morning or night person. I love music 24/7 but listening to my tunes starts the day off right and ends it at night, right, too.
  7. I've been alcohol and drug free my entire adult life and find my music sounds best in the AM. I love it all day and night but mornings are the time I fire up my dual 1229 and sort thru my vinyl collection and just get into really listening to the music. Throughout the day music is background for living and working but AM is time for music listening priority. I like reading about audio audio equipment and love a good system but it's the music that is most interesting to me. Solid state versus Tubes is fun to read about but my Tom Petty Greatest Hits record moves me. Even without booze, drugs, $10,000 mono blocks on the floor with expensive cables on risers, that album and 100s of others make for a great start to my day. Btw, my Forte1s and my old rebuilt Dual and my midpriced Yamaha receiver with my HSU sub sounds better than anyone's system that I know. I know SS is harsh and subs are a no no around here but my music makes me happy and I'm not chasing the never satisfied bug.
  8. Congrats on the new Chorus speakers
  9. My wife loves watching TV so Im thinking the best solution will be to get a larger center channel speaker than my current KEF - I like the idea of the RC 64 but damn that thing is big and expensive
  10. I have nowhere in my living room to move that sub - I can pull the speakers out a little and play with some toe in but there is the WAF to consider
  11. Thanks cinema_head I'll try that - right now I'm running a small KEF center
  12. Thanks jjptkd that's the one going on my Christmas list - mostly used for TV since I listen to my music in 2.1 always
  13. I love everyone's answers after I tell them I have no room for another large speaker anywhere in my living room and people are saying get a Klipschehorn for my center lol
