They are definitely Chorus II's and here is one of the tags the seller sent to me:

These are legit, I think the seller meant to say that he had "heritage" speakers. He sent me some pictures and they are two pairs of consecutive numbered sets. Other that a small ding on the front right of one cabinet, they are very clean. Wish they were Forte II's in that or a walnut finish and I'd be all over a pair.

Understood, but the OP was referencing A Kind Of Blue that was a couple decades earlier. I personally miss the '70's as they were my wonder years, although they were also the best and worst of times.

Perfect, thank you! I'm seriously considering upgrading from the Kg4 but the ones I'm looking at will need some work.

Looking to buy a pair of Quartets but the base has damage that would need to be refinished. Are the bases for this model detachable as they are with the Kg4's?

Can't seem to find any of these close enough to drive.
