Back when I had hbo I tried to watch it but only made it through a couple episodes for some reason. That one didn't "reel me in" like the other did. Heck after three or four episodes, the strings opening the show started to choke me up. The old soldiers commenting on the storyline had a lot to do with that too. I had relatives I never knew that were over there and did not come back. Heard stories of them as a kid.

The "Band of Brothers" was my favorite war movie until "Saving Private Ryan" came out. Haven't been able to decide since. The episode that dealt with that battle siege was heart wrenching.

I'd take your 100 degree heat over the humidity here. Yea right, until the tenth day in a row probably! Done with my rationed 20 oz for today. Forgot to order in time and my place in South America has my new favorite back in stock. It will take as usual ten days to get here... got an unopened lb plus the grinder hopper's almost full. Need to make sure I don't run out and I'm pushing it close this time.

Too bad we can't put two reactions out there << was my second one. If I had seen all of those superstars... nope I still can't dance `cept for a few TX bands or like UFO. Paul I talked about expressos in that post but meant cappuccinos like what you had made! I'll stick with the black and add milk if it's still around at lunchtime. I spent so much on grinders over twenty years I went full tilt with a Rancilio talked about at the old CCC thread. Once you get an Italian performance machine you can not go back! Heck I won't ever need to!

Good luck with that! A road trip with open air hitting me at 55 + is always more comfortable than vegging out. First it was the Silverado with the back window then the bike, heck now I want fresh air all the time when I'm the road!

@MicroMara Those mini-reviews are great! Covered all the bases without making it as long as in a hi-fi article! I used to love double shot expressos when they were four dollars for a large, a little more if I went mocha or not. Primo machine @Full Range Italian by chance? One of theirs will last a lifetime with proper maintenance. Got a grinder from there. Last but not least, Dave we need to get a book deal going for you, your just being modest bud! Some of us know there's more! Storm was a doozy yesterday got to go clean trees off and away from the place.

There's at least two generations of out there now @001. It's not only one kid. "feelings" on the outside like a slug with salt on his back. Those victims were still too young to be nothing but innocent!

Thinking I wanted to listen to some Zep... but newer. No not the kids with the one decent lp. John Paul Jones w/...tude Dave Grohl w/...tude With the full of attitude Josh Hommes spinning the tales. Not One bad rocker on this one "Warsaw or the First Breath You Take..." is their most relentless, catchy, sharp? or is it slightly flat work here.
