I would enjoy seeing the old photographs of sales that have already occurred for reference. I've clicked well over 100 links with no photos, and I've wanted to see those photos because I'm trying to understand Klipsch and take from this wealth of knowledge. I'm not sad about it, but having a photo would certainly assist me and other Klipsch newcomers with education, understanding and reference when we come across Klipsch in any area of our lives (parties, Ebay, forum discussions, etc.). Frankly, learning from all of you passionate Klipsch audiophiles is the single reason that I joined the forum. You too Unclefred, so don't be so hard on people or I'm going to have to disavow our family ties.
Please disavow. WTF, is the drinking water contaminated? This is simply alerts for deals. Not some dizzy archive.

The point is, the link was dead by the time Carl saw the thread. If alerts posters made it routine to include at least one photo from the listing, a normal person, such as Carl, @CECAA850, the second responder to the thread, would always be able to see what the listing had been about. Without such a photo, a normal person would need a time machine to view a now dead link. Unfortunately, common courtesy is entirely too uncommon, like it's cousin, common sense.
Although he might bear a slight resemblance to Sherman, Carl's dog is not Mr. Peabody, and he has no access to the Way-Back Machine.
Heresys for $200 aren't going to last long. I assume Carl has seen Heresy's before. Seeing a pic of sold Heresy is not really important.

Buh Bye, it was nice not meeting you, I don't have time in my life for people like you.
Take your anger out somewhere else. A blowup doll would probably be a good starting point.

No doubt you are an expert on the dolls. Reading comprehension, not so much.

UncleFred, I think the reason people may have thought these were yours was because most people post "No affiliation" just to let people in the forum know they are not yours or someone you are associated with.
The description of the Alerts section spells it out, clearly. No need for redundancy.

I could be drunk or stupid or both. I've just never seen a factory issued Cornscala never mind one in 2 tones. Oh that's right, Klipsch never made a Cornscala. Maybe Uncle Fred has some splaing to do? Painting the back to match the rest of the cabinet must be a 10 minute job. Quoting Moray " excellent loudspeaker and great colors in the rug."
Is the rug included? I'm going out on a limb and doubling Woofers and Tweeters offer. $2 and you pay shipping
AND this isn't an auction site, state your asking price, pull up your diaper and get on with it
Mark
There is no such thing as a factory cornscala. I'm going out on a limb and deciding you can't read plain English. Hey slick, read this-

If a photo had been posted from the listing, we'd at least know what was deleted. I'd like to see a custom that all alerts to listings include at least one photo.
Or you could click on the link like a normal person. How's your blood pressure?

Why are the sides and front painted black and the back a stained plywood? I dont think Klipsch offered various finishes applied to a speaker order. I could be wrong but black on a gun walnut would be factory issued

Are you drunk or stupid? I guess stupid.

How about you are an idiot with a tiny dik-brain.,

With that size screen you should be sitting no farther than 7-8 feet from it. At the distance you are now, (unless the camera has distorted it) you are not seeing HD quality. At the proper distance you wouldn't need huge speakers either.

China has been producing some of the world's finest audio products for many years. SVS makes very good subs.

I'm sure I would love either of them, and the Chorus II. Someday.

Good luck with that. Sometimes I think it's all salesmen in here.

I think Emotiva has gone to switching supplies and Class H topology. Maybe G, not sure, but a lot of pro amps are class H. Another efficient design.
-
If it's the same speaker each time, I wonder if your amp is passing DC? I've seen that happen, causing randomly blown tweeters or melkted lpads.

I liked any of the Nakamichi STASIS (Nelson Pass) receivers (SR-2A and TA-2A)...the Outlaw Audio RR2150 sounded very nice, I sometimes wish I hadn't moved it along...the early McIntosh sounds warm (and really holds it's value) but it moved along as well (MAC1900 and MA6200)...the Panasonic SA-XR "digital" receivers set to 2 channel are clean and inexpensively priced.

I have a couple of those Panasonics, they sound very good with my Quartets and with my ribbon speakers. I doubt I will ever buy another analog receiver. My main Coda amp and IRD pre sound better, but not by much, at least on the Klipsch. The difference is greater on the Bohlander-Graebner towers, most likely because of the lower efficiency and ohm characteristics they present.
The Coda runs class A for the first 12 or 15 watts and I doubt it needs that much with the Quartets. The pre can be run at zero gain.

I think the problem is the comments about the photos were inappropriately assuming gender. That is very offensive to .009% of the public.

That's why you can't bid on them here.

Outlaw Audio/ATI are nice gear built very well but with this receiver I just can't get past the asymmetrical design.
Bill
I'd like to see one in person to get a better look. The old model took a lot of digs on the look.

Outlaw has a new 2ch receiver with a lot of modern features and a retro design that looks interesting-

pick up one of these-they have a pretty good tube signature: http://www.ebay.com/itm/SainSmart-110V-Assembled-6N3-Hifi-Buffer-Audio-Tube-Headphone-Amplifier-Case/302391193039?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2055119.m1
Inexpensive, one input. Use it with one of your other amps or receivers and see if you like the tubes in your system.

It seems to me that separating the LaScalas that far apart would hurt the imaging fairly severely. At least you would expect that in speakers, generally. Isn't that part of the reason for the Heresy being placed in the middle with the Khorns? Now, I've never had LaScalas so I don't really know.
