Smaller is Def better for my room. The Cornwalls barely work they are so large. I honestly think a Forte III would be optimum but haven't heard one. Whichever comes up first in the future after all the bills are paid will be coming home with me
I did. I may end up keeping them if some of my other gear sells first. Don't feel too bad for me I still have Forte and chrorus I. I will end up buying another pair of the Cornwall III in the future.

Up for sale I have a pair of Klipsch CORNWALL III Walnut. Speakers are in VERY good condition. Risers only have a couple chips on the back. All drivers are pristine and work perfectly. No boxes available.
Next time, 1 800 go fedex. Ypu can always have them hold it at your local fedex facility. This has happened to me multiple times. Slightly frustrating sometimes.
I only listened to them for about 15 minutes thus far. I know that wasn't the right positioning. I just threw them in the corner. I had another pair of speakers I sold right before that. I will have the time to experiment this coming week sometime
I'm going to switch to the parasound halo. Simpler is better sometimes. All in one unit with a quality DAC and lots of flexibility, can't go wrong for the price.
Dspeaker 2.0 as preamp/DAC/room correction. I needed it for my legacies. For these speakers, I can tell positioning will work the bass out quite nicely.
My listening position is against the back wall and cannot be moved. As such, the bass response will be amplified dramatically either way. I'll experiment here shortly. Thanks all for the pointers.
Between the two, parasound halo gets my knod. I had problems with the Peachtree Audio and quality control.... Received three defective units in a row straight from the company.
