The kg 5.5 G are going for 350 to 400 by themselves on eBay and it looks like the sw10 is going anywhere from 150 to 200.... I would be looking to get 450 to 500 for the package of fall is in working order others here may disagree but just my personal take, with that said keep in mind that most people who deal on here trying to help each other out so price is often or lower than what you'll find on eBay

By the way I'm in the same boat as you as I'm currently using tannoys as my rears, but would like to upgrade to the rp-160m or the RP 240 s, but like you cost justification is an issue for me as well.... let us know what you decide and how whatever you get sounds....

Hey fire sorry I didn't mean to get your throat off topic.... but my educated guess would be that the rb51s be better than a 15s, however I have not heard the RB 51s, but I do know that several on here like that series... hopefully youth will chime in here again as he's owned about every Klipsch known to man except maybe the RP series lol.... if I'm not mistaken I believe he's using 50 ones for his rears.... but it may be the rs he's using...

I'm completely with you just saying I didn't expect to see them at all there especially in the Magnolia area so I was definitely shocked however I'm only trying to get in on this because I wanted to make sure I didn't waste my money on my two 80s thinking they were A Cut Above them maybe they weren't but I see what you're saying they're definitely not the reference line at Best Buy not sure what angle youth was coming from his post

They do carry it now at the Best Buy where I'm at in Melbourne Florida, they currently have a 5.1 setup with their rp280f the 440c an Erp 160s for the rear as well as the RS w115, the guy working in Magnolia was under the same impression though he thought they were only going to get in the wireless version of the rps, so we were both surprised to see them in the Magnolia area...

Reference as in the ones they carry at Best Buy with the exception of course of the reference Premiere that they now also carry?

Are u refering to the reference premier line.... as in the rp280f OR rp-160m? If so I certainly don't find them to be the same as the old synergy, woofers are shaped different and look different tweeters are also different.... if what you're saying is true that you certainly let the wind out of my sails.....

That's what I figured based on your name enjoy reading your post by the way, I'm going this year with a group but I understand where you coming from with the cost/value... on another note I do think the RP line is awesome just took me time to get used to it.... however I think you've probably heard a lot more Klipsch models that I have based on your post... lol....the rp are very smooth listen, I would think they would be awesome in a 2-channel setting in an office

Hey it's not sure if this correlates are helps but I'll give you my opinion based on owning kg 4.2 for 20 plus years and switching over to rp 280f s... it took me some time to get used to the to 80s after getting them they seem to have a much more detailed smooth sound than the kg 4.2 did and are excellent acoustic guitars Etc... Others May disagree about thiss, but i also find them to be unforgiving as in if the recording her mix wasn't done verywvery well it will definitely be noticed when you're using the two 80s.... I would think the difference would be about the same between the 160 and a 3.2s you are currently using... something you may want to consider for using these in the office environment... on another note I'm curious if you are youth minister.... I only ask because I see that you're based in Florida and was wondering if maybe you were going to rock the universe.....?

What at work to use to use 250 cs as Rear surrounds standing on there ends like mini towers.... I have two 80s in the fronts and a 250c for a center but thought about replacing that with the 450 and moving the 250 to the back and buying another one... any thoughts or has anyone tried this.

Would the 9060s Work well as separated in 5.1 setup with a pre amp....

When you guys were talking about moving the couch do you mean run the mic on the couch where it is or moving the couch out of the way and placing the mic where the couch would be... just curious as my couches in the middle also but I ran the Odyssey Mike with the couch where it is now

Yeah they've been great but I have to admit RP or pretty awesome.... I'm running some tannoy mercury m1s for rear surrounds that believe it or not I got for $6 a Goodwill, couldn't pass up taking a chance on and they work flawlessly however in the future i plan to upgrade to RP 240s or RP 160s for the Rears... it did take some time for me to get used to the switch from the kgs to the rps though...

I haven't bought them yet just thought about it thanks for you guys input and opinions

Hey Billy and all others sorry for my poor introduction or lack thereof, yes I do have Klipsch speakers had kg 4.2 for 20 + years, then last year upgraded to rp280fs and a rp-250c and then gave my dad their kgs to use.... currently using a Denon to drive everything wasn't necessarily looking for the amps but they look like their beast and thought I would ask about him since I fell on them... the guy was using them to drive some RTR 600 s.... anyway been looking on here for some time now this is the first time I posted though thanks for the response and welcoming me to The Forum...

Nobody is familiar with these....

Does anybody have any information on these I have a chance to get these for a song just wondering what you guys know about them.... such as value ect...
