  1. You could at least acknowledge out of respect.
  2. Hi guys, The title says it all. One of my Klipschorn tweeter just died on me. I need a replacement. K77 or K77M. I love my Horns. Thanks.
  3. Ready to buy the K77M. I need this tweeter. Please reply soon.
  4. I need the K77M, one of mine just died on me. Pleassssse !!!
  5. Hi I want the K77M. Ready to proceed.
  6. Hey all you Khorn owners, what are the components attached to your babies?
  7. I love my Khorn more everyday. Awesome presence and transparency. I love the natural sound and feeling of the bass. Plus mine are in such a nice shape, they fit so well in my decor. I’m a lucky and happy owner of Klipschorn 1966.
  8. Thanks Wirrunna Above, you will see a picture of the tweeter. Didn't want to open the bottom bin since after removing all the bolts I realized that the lid is glued sealed to the frame. I'm not that curious. Question. I heard alot about the Bob Crite AA crossover, how fantastic they are. How are my ALK compared to them?
  9. Thanks for all the infos guys, I am now positive that my Khorn were born in 1966. I love them even more. Khorn upstairs, Cornwall downstairs... I’m blessed. 🙏🏻
  10. Ok, I will check it out. I am tempted to open that bin since I purchase those babies.
  11. Well the label picture has been taken from the top hat, and it’s the only label I can find.
  12. Hi SiliconTi Where did you find the year of birth? I’ve been searching quite a bit. Thank you very much for the information
  13. Hi Wirrunna since I’m french (nobody is perfect, right?) I’m not sure what you mean by the top hat? Also, I can upload a picture of the crossover which have been all retired (not sure it’s the right word).
  14. Hello everyone I need your help to identify the year my recently acquired Klipschorn were made. Both have the same tag inside them, but all hand written informations were erased by the years (see the picture), all I got is a serial number punched into the wood at different places. Speakers have consecutive numbers which are: 2D112 - 2D113. Anyone can tell which year these babies were born?
  15. Oh, and you are right Dirtmud, it is a Marantz 2240b which I use as a preamp, since below it tou can see a Airtight AM-201 tube amplifier.
  16. No Dirtmud, those are not the one. Sometime being patient and waiting is better. I put a wanted ad on Canuck Audio Mart, and 2 days later a nice man from Montreal send me a message telling me that he’s got a nice pair of KH for sale. I saved a two day trip, 300$ of gas and lodging, and 1000$ on the price. I’m so happy!
  17. Thanks for the answers and pictures , John. Finally, I just bought a pair of beautiful Klipschorn with brand new Klipsch grille. So happy! I love the look, and even more the sound.
  18. Yes indeed. I am now a lucky owner of KH and twice a member of the big Klipsch family, since I also got a pair of Cornwall. 😊
  19. Well not today, but last Saturday. Good enough? Nice pair of Klipschorn that I bought from 76 year old gentleman for 2100$us.Great deal! I’m so happy! They’re awesome. Never heard anything like it.
  20. Hi everyone Is there top screen covers for La Scala or they are only custom made ones?
  21. Finally, I missed the deal in London Ontario. Although we agreed on the price, the seller wouldn’t wait and give the time to organise the transportation. At first, he told me told me that he could wait till after March break (he is a teacher) and then he came back on his word and sold them this Jim guy who was ready and able to pick them up the next day. Very disappointed. Since KH are very rare, specially in Quebec or Canada, I might turn towards some La Scala. There is a couple of opportunity close by. One is asking a little to much I think 1700$cdn, and the other one is at 1500d. The thing is, the later has not been played for the last 14years. Could that be a problem even If kept under good condition, around 55% humidity? Well, here is his very brief answer. Built in 75, I have owned them since 77, new tweeter late seventies, have not used them in the last 14 yrs. What do you guys think?
