Good morning! i recently purchased a rough pair of Cornwall iis. One happens to be missing the complete tweeter section. Is there an aftermarket replacement, without altering the motor board, available? Or is the best bet to troll eBay and the garage sale section here for an original? Does anyone have one laying around they want to sell me? I just finished rehabbing a pair of chorus iis and look forward to having a shootout between the sets. thanks as always! David

Ha! I ordered from crites. I’ve put in their crossovers for clients before but never for myself. So it’s like getting new speakers!

They are both identical. And no extra pieces in the cab!

I’m working on a pair of chorus II’s and I pulled out the crossovers while getting ready to sand the cabinets and they looked odd. I’ve added a picture. Can someone tell me if these were already recapped? The black ones do not look like stock compared to pictures on the forum and they look to be missing a circular piece on the left side. Last time I heard these speakers they sounded fine but at relatively low volume. Thanks for any help!

Hello all! looking to move my single heresy, factory textured black. I just finished refreshing a pair of chorus II’s and bought a single quartet to go in the middle. Was used as a center for about 6 months. It’s listed locally here online for $799. Great condition, works perfect, one tiny nick on a side. if interested I’m sure we can come up with “forum” pricing but would also be interested in trades. Looking for a newer 3 channel amp about 200wpc. Will also consider 5 channel amps, black heritage/neoheritage speakers, or speakers with damaged veneers that would be fine to paint over. thanks for looking!

Hello all! i put these up for sale/trade locally here in Chicago. Listed for $699. They are not mint cabinets but I was going to sand and re-oil them but, alas, they do not really fit in. BUT!!! I’m actually in the market for black heritage/neoheritage speakers to go in my home theater room. so anybody semi local who would like to trade for black? I m looking for forte, chrorus, Cornwall, and would also consider quartets and heresy for the right ones. Pro stuff too or even speakers with shoddy veneer that nobody would mind if I refinished black. I’m also interested in a 3-channel home amp, newer at lease 200wpc. Good working condition, 1987. Just saw this post! I offered $80 yesterday and then accepted. I guess I have a new center channel to play with.

I know they look rough but I feel like it’s not a bad deal. Luckily I’m not in St. Louis so I don’t have to decide. Full disclosure, I have kp-201s that duratex did wonders for and I’m kind of hooked on kp/kt.
