@amped I've been in Miami when those big tour boats were practically across the street. The new basketball arena was being built nearby. I was outside of the big skyscrapers in the Cuban section with the best Cuban Sandwich & black beans that I've ever had. It was just a couple horn blows but it resonated through me.
So that being played with the crowd cheering is a great clip!
I grew up down there. The Goodyear blimp used to have a base on Watson Island (on the causeway across from the cruise terminal). My dad took us over there to watch and the pilot saw the Goodyear tires on our car and gave us a ride over the city. Them were the days...

You might have heard this one if you've watched College Football this past decade!

@JohnJon the Skunk... "South City Midnight Lady", while being about South San Francisco, is not about any woman in particular. Jeff Baxter of Steely Dan played pedal steel guitar on the track. He would become an official Doobie Brother in 1974.
Skunk brought Michael McDonald to the Doobies and later became a US defense consultant.

It had disappeared for a day or two so I checked to see if it was ok and was given the thumbs up by Roy Mottram (their chief bonehead)
PS, loving the updates, Barbie!

Michael Fremmer put up an old interview he did in 1986. It's pretty good-

Listening to this right now via my iphone connected to preamp, etc.
BTW, this to me isn't the best on the album. If you can find more i suggest a listen. Also the movie "Beware of Mr Baker" is a good watch.
