  3. R.I.P. PWK. Happy Birthday to the one who has brought so much joy to our ears.
  4. Hi, Just quickly read through the thread and just thought I'd show you how I did mine. I find it works great. I left the back open to the inside of the closet so I can add or change out any equipment as necessary. Also do wiring changes etc. I also added a 2" pvc tube from the closet to behind the TV where I can fish cables through if needed in the future. Also just like yours my stairs are above the closet at the right. Cheers Sean
  5. The one that's in the keg fridge sitting beside my spot on the couch of my H/T.
  6. Awesome set-up Bill. I love it when people go to the EXTREME!!!
  7. Thanks again. I just got my Blu-ray player into proper DTS format. Sounds amazing, separation is awesome.
  8. That's too funny....and true! Matching equipment i.e. speakers and amps, receivers etc...what pairs up well. Sean
  9. Wuzzzer hit the nail right on the head. Change to bitstream. Thanks everyone. Sean
  10. Thanks for the input all. Will give it a try this afternoon. Sean
  11. Still no luck. It takes signal from an older DVD player but not Blu-ray. Anyone else know of something? Thanks Sean
  12. You guys want to see crazy drivers? Go to Jamaica. You almost have to stop at the green lights to keep from getting t-boned.
  13. Frzninvt, Did that, still won't work. I'm going to mess around with it tonight see if I can't get it to go. Thanks
  14. I know my way around hook ups and electronics pretty well. I'm having trouble with my H/K receiver picking up the DTS signal from my Blu ray player. It won't let me choose DTS as a surround mode. I'm using a DTS blu ray/DVD movie. Is it that the H/K does not recognise the newer technology Blu ray signal???? Thanks for any input.
  15. Thanks all. Kyle-they are like mini LaScala's. Not quite as breath-taking, but still sharp and accurate. dtel-sound is awesome, still some tweaking to do which takes a fair bit of time. I've balanced all the surround modes, but still need to set up the sub at the as close to perfect x-over point. It's is definately an experience watching and hearing a movie at reference level. Sean
  16. Leave it to Beaver. "Ward, I think you were a little hard on the Beaver last night."
  17. Thx. Gary, first pic lower left. Here's another one of it and the movie shelf.
  18. Thank's for the comps guys....and yes it does sound amazing. The bass just rips through everything, even the concrete. It was alot of teadeous work. I even have a 2" tube that runs from the receiver through the ceiling down to behind the Plasma. Just in case I need to fish any cables through in the future.
