Just like in the old days.
Yep. Did that to a lot of Bose newbies in the old days when Parrot roamed the Forum... Miss him.

We'll always have Frazier. Well, at least you'll always have Frazier.
Here's looking at you, kid. 🥂

Seriously considering manufacturing them again. Maybe start with Super Monte Carlos or Mark IV's and see who salutes. PWK introduced me to Jack Frasier's designs so certainly no issue or threat to Klipsch. Nobody except those who already have them or are looking for them would buy them anyway.

As a moderator you should be held to a higher cause .
If you disagree you should be ignored .
Agreed. No quarrel with getting me free of a thankless task that returns nothing but abuse from unhappy Forum members. I consider it an honor to be free of it. Now I can post as I see fit and be dismembered without my God powers. Big relief...

So, the intrepid FSR goes to the levee on the Red River in Fulton, a village of maybe two hundred, to get a shot of the old steamboat landing. Seems the owner objected as you will hear. I heard the shot, buckshot, hit the grass nearby. My Vietnam response was to jump over the edge of the levee and eat grass as I headed along it in low crawl away. But, as you will hear I did not flinch or turn around. I wanted him to hit me in the back if he fired again. Figured I was more likely to survive that way. Finished the shot and still did not look toward the house as I headed for the car to dry my pants and head away.
Due to being drummed out of the Moderator corps in disgrace, no room. Putting on my page in Facebook. Those of you too fearful to use Opera and join FB with a hidden account will need to see it where you can, if you wish.

As moderator, I will only enforce the TOS I believe PWK would have followed.

Glad you decided to stay Dave.
I'll only leave when it's time to join Daddy Dee, PWK, Old Buckster, and the other's in that great listening room up there.

I should add that I would also not say anything here that would damage Heritage sales regardless of my thoughts on Klipsch management. That would be harmful to the great people of Klipsch and to the memory of the Legend PWK.

Ladies and gents, I certainly did not expect some of these posts.
I am not going anywhere unless banned. I love PWK and Klipsch & Associates. I am listening to Klipsch right now and hope I am doing so at the hour of my death.

I pretty much try to stay out of stuff like this but I have to say why have you started this thread..?
Is it to stir people up or what are you trying to accomplish with this thread?
This sounds like something that is between you and the others who make decisions and moderate this forum and IMHO should be handled in PMs instead of drawing others into something we have no way of knowing all the circumstances or even fully understanding the circumstances of why the decisions have been made.

Please read what I wrote. To quote LBJ "I will not run no will I accept my party's nomination for Moderator."

I fully understand that Klipsch is free to do what it likes with its forum, but just "firing" someone as a moderator is puzzling.
Agreed. But nothing was really stated. While I totally consider the present TOS to be something PWK would call "BS" on, I have enforced it. Anyone who says I have not please tell me when it was and provide a link.

For reasons that were stated but made no sense to me, to me I was fired. That's fine as I've been doing this since 2005 and it's consumed time I don't have anymore but did it anyway as I love PWK and all his work, and I love so many of you. Really, all of you. Tried to be a very just and "moderate" Moderator. I HAVE kept my badge. I think I earned it. I think only a few have been here longer than I have and I will continue to participate here and in Pilgrimage and other events. All you guys I've had to step between in the ring are now at the tender mercies of the other mods...
Even in this thread I've in no way disparaged any Klipsch employee.

Ride height means a lot. Install some of those hydraulic lifts on the shocks to raise up the car.

God have mercy on your heathen soul! For crying out loud at the Cadillac. If you can approve the engineering in the car, go for it. I drove 800 miles yesterday in nine hours. I will let you do the calculations on my average speed. I got 23 miles per gallon. When required to pay off I would hit 115 or 20. It’s not even a challenge.

I can take that thing anywhere a truck can go pretty much. It washes just fine. I am an excellent 4 Wheel Dr. her in most any train and have never been stuck more than a few seconds ever. Took a Hyundai Ellantra through country Inn Arkansas where I was only running into a few ATV drivers all who thought I was in real trouble.I was lost but had no problem getting out with no damage to the car. However, I wouldn’t say it was fun because it’s too hard to have to concentrate on every few feet.

Second in this series will cover PWK, the plant, and the KMAH. Pickup truck is traditional for this, but I thought my Arkansas Cadillac a bit more up to date. Took it places more suitable to 4 wheel. No problem!

For the Four States Reporter. She's fully all weather, all river, and Gulf Intracoastal Waterway capable and quite nice. As I'll be mainly using her for the Four States Reporter, it's business so all the expenses and crew will be tax deductible. Sweet!
