  3. He would probably have Spherical Horns built first , so that you also have reasonable sound in space
  4. didn´t expected anything else from you ....
  5. The most expansive record cleaner you´ve ever seen ...
  6. Sometimes you just do things that you don't understand yourself. Today at noon, it was cloudy and windy, I went to our mailbox. To get there I have to walk about 0.2 mile down the hill. I got there and it was empty! Then I decided to walk a few more meters . That turned into about 12 miles. I went to our nearby lake and watched some technicians start up a Ferris wheel. At Easter there is a big lake festival. Hopefully we will have better weather then.
  7. Gonna sell my Micro immediately ..if you sell me your high tec TT
  8. just a point of view André , wasn´t intended that way. But somehow you can read between the lines, while we got luxury problems , 1.200 miles from here happens a genocide and people fight about their lives. That´s still in mind since Putin invaded Ukraine.
  9. Well ..... it's not like I can't listen to music with the number of audio components I have available. Of course I will miss not being able to spin records, but it is more important to me to have the functionality of both tonearms in perfect technical condition, as I plan to use this tt until the end of my days. So it is worth waiting patiently for 2 weeks and to have the certainty that everything is technically perfect.
  10. Nice Tonearms @KROCK 👍 Looks like SME Series V ( left ) and a Jelco SA 750 D .
  11. Unfortunately I have to tell you that tomorrow I will disassemble the SME 3009 as well as the MA 505 MK II tonearm from the Micro Seiki DQX 1000. Both will be sent for an inspection. There the functionality as well as statics and balance of the tonearms will be checked. In addition, the MA 505 MK II gets a new anti-skating string, this is slightly frayed and must be renewed. In addition, both tonearms are equipped with new silver internal wiring. Another thing about the MA 505 MK II that perhaps hardly anyone knows: The anti-skating setting is not automatic, while the screwing knob selects the positions depending on the needle grind (red color means elliptical needles, navy blue are more "penetrating" needle grinds like Gyger or Shibata. So it will take approx. two weeks before I can spin any records again. Using my digital and other analouge gear meanwhile.
  12. The brand new album from Tears for Fears " The tipping point " was released by the end of february 2022 .
  13. George M. Duke (January 12, 1946 – August 5, 2013) was an American keyboardist, composer, singer-songwriter and record producer. He worked with numerous artists as arranger, music director, writer and co-writer, record producer and as a professor of music. He first made a name for himself with the album The Jean-Luc Ponty Experience with the George Duke Trio. He was known primarily for 32 solo albums, of which A Brazilian Love Affair from 1979 was his most popular, as well as for his collaborations with other musicians, particularly Frank Zappa.
  14. Frank and his Mothers Over- Nite Sensation , 1973, Discrete Records. You´ll know that Jean Luc Ponty and George Duke were a part of his band for this production ?

  20. It is a rarity that such audiophile productions were produced on the Mercury ( Phonogram ) label as early as 1974. This album is one of the most perfect productions of its time. 10 CC with "The original Soundtrack". God this is beautiful .........
  21. Stanley Clarke & George Duke Project II , got Project I from them as well and I think Project I is the better, uncommercial production. However ..still good enough for the burn in. After 4 hours .......getting the first " WOW Effects " here and a real fat smile in my face
  22. Followed by George Duke´s " Guardian of the Light " 1983, CBS Records
