  1. My kids punched a hold through my KSW-12 sub. Can you help me find a replacment driver for it? Beside Klipsch driver, what are other drivers I can use with this sub? I am looking to spend around $100.00 to $200.00 dollars for it.
  2. What is a good replacement for the RC3 II center channel speaker? I need something smaller to mount on top of my plasma. I looked at several Klipsch small center channels at my local electronic stores. They all look unattractive on top of an expensive plasma. I may be buying a Definitive Mythos center channel if someone here think otherwise. Please advice, Thanks in advance.
  3. I am converting my bedroom into a home theater. I have already taken out the closet door and used the closet space for a 100 in screen. There is no room within the closet for my front speaker. There are, however, some room to the left and right of my closet that could be used to put the left and right speakers in. The left side, if I cut open the sheetrock, there is a cavity space of about 2'x2'x8' (feet). The right side, if I cut open the front sheetrock, it will open into the closet. Ok, here is the question: If I cut my sheetrock and place my front RF3 speakers inside, how will it sound? I don't want to cut out the sheetrock if the acoustic change drastically. Thanks for your help.
  4. Any one would like to take this from me for about $100.00 dollars, email me at qlele@yahoo.com
  5. I brought a brand new KSW12 at my local authorized dealer for $295.00. The replacement amp for this sub is five hundred???? That ain't right.
  6. jwadd21: I am glad you like your RF3-II as your center speaker. I am thinking of doing the same thing too. In fact, I can get the RF3-II for a cheaper price than the center channel RC3-II. I am not a woodworker but I do have all the tools to cut out a new motorboard. Do you have a picture of your speaker? And how easy is it to remove those drivers off of the old motorboard?
  7. I have a pair of RF3-II for the front channel. I am looking to purchase another RF3-II to use as a center channel. Do you think the RF3-II would make a good center speaker? My local authorized dealer has the RF3-II for $325.00 dollars as oppose to the RC3-II at $375.00. Personnally, I think the RF3-II and the more expensive RC-7 are very much the same speaker. In this case, I can save tons of money by getting the RF-3II. Please advice.
  8. Smyle1: Try your RF3II again with a single-run speaker cable, but instead of using the crappy metal strap that came with your speaker, replace it with a short jumper cable. You will be surprise how this short jumper cable brings out the clarity of the RF3II.
  9. >>Last week I sold my SF-2's for near what I >>Originally paid for thm 6 month's or so ago and >>bought a new set of RF-3 IIs for $590.00 shipped to >>my door here's some pictures I replaced my SF2 for a pair of RF-3II a month back. I am still disappointed with the performance of RF-3II as compare to the SF2. Unless I have a defective RF-3II, or I damage my receiver, I am still not very happy. I am thinking of going back to the SF2.
  10. My room is about 16x15, not very big. I tried my RS-3 II at various location, it made no difference where I put them. I think the RS-3 are more forgiving as to where you can put them as long as you don't put them to close to the front speakers.
  11. goodguys.com. They are authorized dealers.
  12. They have a ceiling mount stand that you can use to mount your speaker from the ceiling. Mount your speaker at 12 feet from your TV and move your couch 15 feet back from your TV That would be perfect.
  13. I need to replace my RC-3 II with something smaller or In-Wall. What is the best option for me? With an addition of a 42 in plasma, the RC-3II seems big and bulky. I very much have two options. Find a good In-Wall center channel or build a small speaker enclosure that could be hidden in a fireplace mantel. What would you do? Thanks in advance.
  14. The last time I spoke to a customer service, they were trying to compare my dirty cheap speaker with an expensive car! My few bucks of speaker is junk to them. Perhaps if my sub is ten of thousand of dollars, they will talk nicely to me.
