  1. Hello, Since you aren't officially selling these (yet?) I will comment on the price(s) to help you out. I'm in the Chicago land area for price reference. I bought an excellent condition set of RF-82's for $400 less than a year ago (one small mark on the side... not noticeable from several feet away or when it's placed in the room) and I thought that was a fair price. I bought a mint a set of RF-62's (with a Yamaha receiver) for $200... but I think the guy just wanted the received gone, so that was considered a free-bee! As far as going back to 5.1, I don't think that's a bad idea. There is something to be said about the simplicity of that arrangement. (I see some of the pictures posted online of people with their atmos set-up... their room looks like a messy college dorm room with wires dangling everywhere and components all over the place! Also, one has to consider the signal quality of the content you are watching/listening to. Netfix/Amazon Prime/etc. I have a 7.2 processor, and I actually went back to a 5.2 speaker arrangement for simplicity because my home theater was turned into a play room (kids!) and my new "home theater" is a small area between the stairs and the storage room.... away from the play-doh and glitter ridden fingers of my daughters! I hope this helps.
  2. Hello, What was it doing that it needed to be serviced? Thanks
  3. Update, the RB1070 I mentioned in the ad sold, I still have the RB1050.
  4. Hello all, I owned a CF3 pair V2 that was in need of refinishing. While doing research, I came across much information on the different versions. In regards to the port length, it was roughly 3 inches deep on the V2. The V1, if I remember correctly, was closer to the 5-6" length. In addition, the V1 and V2 had more grayish horns while the V3 had the black horns. As far as crossover components are concerned, I didn't do any digging into the difference. I hope this helps.
  5. Bump. I have it listed for $75 less than the other one in the Chicago land area.
  6. I have 2 remaining woofers for sale. Local pick up preferred 60511 Illinois $325 Pick up $375 Shipped (US only)
  7. Sorry, this sold a while back. For some reason I didn't get any notices that I had people inquiring about this. I'm sorry everyone! I still have two Rotel amps remaining: RB 1050 and RB 1070
  8. Hello, I agree with the members that say PYLE, in general, is junk. You know whenever a manufacturer puts stats like 3000 watts on the face of an amp/receiver/box/etc. that weights 2 lbs. it is a junk product trying to catch the attention of people who just look at stats to compare electronics. The only thing that I've used from PYLE that was decent was their 15" subs back in the early 90's for a car audio system I built for a friend. The subs were affordable and decent sounding and a whole-lotta bang for the buck. I would recommend looking at and emotiva 7 channel amp...their basx line is pretty affordable on the used market. As far as Emotiva amp quality goes, overall they are pretty solid, but every so often you get one that will need a simple repair.
  9. I just looked online and it looks like the MKII version has blue woven into the outside of the cable. So, I'm wanting to say that the one I have is the original Version.
  10. I have no idea. I've had it for a couple of years if that helps any.
  11. Anyone need a ridiculously thick power cable?
  12. For your consideration is a new Tripp Lite UPS. Model SU1500RTXLCD2U I was holding onto this for when I rework/upgrade my home theater. I planned on running the computer/preamp/blueray/etc. off of this to avoid shutdowns when the power goes out...which unfortunately happens all too often! However, then kids came along...new home theater dreams derailed! This was over $1000 new after taxes For members $500 Local pick up strongly preferred at this time as it is almost 50lbs. However, if you really want it shipped, I'm sure we can work something out. Located 60511 - Far Western burbs of Chicago
