  1. I like the 1984 version, so I wasn´t at all sure about the new one... But I liked it too, so go ahead!
  2. E.T. knows his moves, but lacks sex appeal...
  3. Last one for today:
  4. Now with Shure M91 MG-D and new spherical stylus.
  5. Sadly, mine has a few scratches... But I got it cheap, now that i know I like it, I can look for a better copy. Next: That´s what I like about vinyl covers and this one is special, Alan Parsons, what can I say.
  6. Still time for some new old vinyl:
  7. Where is George @MicroMara ?
  8. No, I´m having my K77 re-magnetized.
  9. Rack´s filled with everything I need. Now the only thing missing are the Heresys, which are still waiting for their tweeters...
  10. Naa, it drops the second LP, but doesn´t shift the tone-arm back over the platter. Needs some fine-tuning. Maybe I´ll do that later, everything else seems to be working. Ordered two stylus (styli?), one eliptical and one spherical to experiment.
  11. Testing the changing function: Stivie Wonder - The Secret Life of Plants
  12. I´m afraid I could ill afford the needles You order... 😆
  13. No worries guys. The TT plays just fine with the other catridge. Will order a new needle this week. 👍
  14. First test run with Supertramp on the 1218. But it´s running with the M75 from my 1214, the stylus of the M91, which wasn´t straight from the beginning, finaly broke off..
  15. The only one that made me wonder a bit was that one boy, everything was a DVD for him, seemed like he didn´t know any CD. When will the younger ones sit and wonder about DVDs, BDs ect., 10 or 15 years, or even less? If I showed them my old Segea Genesis, would they recognize what it is? Well, probably, since itś obviously a video-game of some kind. But, with the latest vinyl-boom, will knowledge about TTs spread again? Or will it just be the older generation which redicovers vinyl?
  16. Putting it back together, one piece at a time. A little grease here, a dab of oil there...

    The Other Discs

The 5th is the OST from the movie.
  18. 😄🙃🙃😄
  19. Turning a video game OST into a prog piece, cool. Here´s the Final Fantasy counterpiece:
  20. I always thought it was beter to transport speakers lying down, so the woofers face up-wards. This is, so the woofers can swing, if you stand them up and they receive a hard bump, you could damage them. Now, I can imagine, this could be difficult with large speakers and I have no experience with moving them. My largest are RF3s and Heresys... Just my two cents.
  21. Sorry off-topic: Here You can see what is called a "Klipsch-Head" in his man-cave! I hope You don´t mind Dave @wvu80, but this photo is so spot on. I like those Epics! Please carry on.
  22. I don´t think I complain about things (that much), but is it really too much to ask for a paper sleeve (imitating the LP cover) for the CD? George @MicroMara, what do You think, it´s the same set your purchased, right?
