Just checking to see if I post a particular something or not.   Anyone here dig the last Dune movie?

I like the 1984 version, so I wasn´t at all sure about the new one... But I liked it too, so go ahead!

That´s what I like about vinyl covers and this one is special, Alan Parsons, what can I say.

Testing the changing function: Stivie Wonder - The Secret Life of Plants

Naa, it drops the second LP, but doesn´t shift the tone-arm back over the platter. Needs some fine-tuning. Maybe I´ll do that later, everything else seems to be working.

Ordered two stylus (styli?), one eliptical and one spherical to experiment.

The only one that made me wonder a bit was that one boy, everything was a DVD for him, seemed like he didn´t know any CD. When will the younger ones sit and wonder about DVDs, BDs ect., 10 or 15 years, or even less? If I showed them my old Segea Genesis, would they recognize what it is? Well, probably, since itś obviously a video-game of some kind.

But, with the latest vinyl-boom, will knowledge about TTs spread again? Or will it just be the older generation which redicovers vinyl?

Turning a video game OST into a prog piece, cool.

  6. I always thought it was beter to transport speakers lying down, so the woofers face up-wards. This is, so the woofers can swing, if you stand them up and they receive a hard bump, you could damage them.

Now, I can imagine, this could be difficult with large speakers and I have no experience with moving them. My largest are RF3s and Heresys...

    Just my two cents.

Is there any reason you can't use Emile's idea?  ^^^

I also have turned large speakers on their side.  Maybe not perfect by some metric but to my ears it sounded pretty good.

    CF-4's as L/R.  Dual 12" woofers
