Today I also replaced the original woofer with the replacement. The originals were 1001-Ks after all, which in the end makes no difference here. Some pics: As you can see, here too, the replacements (left) are beefier and heavier than the original. This seal was missing on the other woofer. Replaced on both sides with adhesive sealing-tape which was left over from the Heresies. Now the fun part - make some noise and listen!

With the new cables and hooked to the Kenwood. I have to say: That amp and the speakers were made for each other ā sounding saweet!! And a good one for a test-run, Devins latest live album. The only thing I gripe about is, that itĀ“s too short. Two LPs, three songs per side max, run-outs are huge, IĀ“m sure the concert was longer. Well, they picked the best there was.

Today an addition to my vintage-system arrived: A KT-7550. I couldnĀ“t test it, power-switch is stuck in the off-position. Apart from that itĀ“s very clean, both from the outside and inside. IĀ“ll send it to a technician tomorrow. HeĀ“ll refurbish it and he will also modify it to make it compatible with DAB+ standard.

Hello fellow Community-Lifers, I am going to have a K 1005-K woofer out of a KG 4.5 soon, just a single one. It is in perfect working order. Since I didnĀ“t find any for sale on Ebay for reference, what would be a reasonable price to ask for it? Thanks for Your input.

Concerning the motor-boards, I remembered last night, I still have this structured paint left over from my Heresy project. IĀ“ll putty-over the holes and use that on both cabinets.
