  1. Others can explain it in more depth, but roughly it means that Your KLFs have tolerance of 200 watts of power for regular use, and peak-power up to 800 watts for short times. The 200 watts are in no way a power requirement.
  2. That wouldn´t be too bad, would it? If they grew as big as their parents, no worries about spare gear!

    The Other Discs

John, i didn´t mean to lessen the pictures You framed in any way. If i made that impression, it was by accident! It was for Your interest only.

    The Other Discs

Always makes me grin, when something´ s about Japan in the West, Hokusais "The Great Wave of the Coast of Kanagawa" is often quoted. I like his 36 Views of Mount Fuji.
  6. Well, there´s always some music to play and maybe a book to read, no?
  7. Your new/ old avatar made me think: " The Queen and King reunited!"
  8. On the "Music for the Masses" double CD i got this week, there is some footage about the famous gig in the Rose Bowl Stadium, the 101 final. Yes, must have been awesome!
  9. The Cure – I haven´t seen Cure here for a long time.

    What I Got Today!

I was having a chat with a colleague about hifi gear the other day and he told me he´s got two TTs he´s got in storage because of place restrains. One is a unspecified Thorens and the other a Technics SL-7... interesting. Also told me, he wouldn´t part with either...

  12. Great job! I haven't seen cherry Heresys very often. Nice gear too!
  13. My two cents: Both speakers aren´t that much different. The R28f are newer, bass-reflex-port is front firing, which is better in confined spaces, because you can place them closer to a wall/ corner without the bass getting boomy. They will also eat more of Your budget. The RF3s are rear-firing, one has to mind that when placing them in the room. The RF3 is a bit fickle, i had to move mine around some to find balance between imagng and bass. As You´ve seen, a complete set can be had without getting poor. Watch out for the vinyl verneer, it is prone to warping. At the end of the day, the only way to find out what You really like, is to listen which speaker suits you better. As i said, spec-wise they are close. I´m happy with my RF3s.
  14. And the PowerMac Case, i love old Macs.
  15. Well, my machine isn´t really rat rod, but:
  16. Yep, and Luis de Funès, I like him best in "The Cabbage Soup" ("La Soupe aux Choux").
  17. Among others: • William Adama ( Galactica ReBoot) • Optimus Prime (As he appears in the IDW comics.) • Horatio Hornblower ( From the "Hornblower" Series of books by C.S. Forrester.) • Spike Spiegel & Jet Black (Cowboy Bebop anime series)

  21. If You take a close look at the downloadable PDF on the Klipsch site, it says 2006 in the right lower corner.
