  1. Nothing, but i am not very very happy with the sound at home. Perhaps it's my room that is not good. I have read that tube amps are good with Klipsch Heritage speakers .. so i think perhaps i can try ..
  2. in the meanwhile, i have seen on internet .. the XLS 402 is not good .. Noisy fans, this amp has not good bass
  3. would a Crown XLS 402 be a good amp ? and what about the fans ... noisy ?
  4. you mean the best are the cdi series ... i will have a look of the price of these amps on my island .. if they can be found
  5. i didn't know that the Maestro Amp has a very low damping factor. I had eared the opposite. Are you sure you speak from the big Audio Analogue Maestro Grand integre .. it is the heavy 114.64 lb amp - A class until 25 Watts and 150 watts over
  6. If I buy it, it is at normal price in a Hi-Fi store. That's why I hesitate. Around me, there are not a lot of lamp amplifiers second hand.
  7. Yaqin MC-13s is with EL34 tubes ... Is it very different than KT88 ?
  8. I have Klipsch cornwall IV since a little more than 1 and half year .. until today, the CW IV are driven by a Audio Analogue Grand Maestro amplifier. I never had tube (valve) amplifier. I have not enough money to buy a big valve amplifier. I have seen the Jolida JD-505 with KT88 tube. Do you think they will match together ? Do you mean EL34 or EL84 should be better ? ( better sound i mean ) ? Thank you for your help
  9. Has anyone approached a too hot welding iron perhaps ?
  10. i have the same problem with one of my Cornwall IV .. i also think for that price, it could have better binding posts.
  11. I have newer had tube amps. Someone near me sells a jolida jd-505 with kt88 tubes. Do you think this amp match with CW IV or la Scala ? Now, he sells it for a lot of money but i will speak with him if it is a good amp for my speakers. I hope he will decrease the price
  12. you convinced me, I'm not changing anything. And i do not know if in the original FH1, there is any foam inside.
  13. I already have the apt-150, driver and Horn. But i would prefer to have a smaller Horn. Like Marvel says, the threads are on the inside rim of the driver. I don t know where i can find the right adapter
  14. Where could i find this adapter, i mean in France or Europa ?
  15. RandyH, i see you know everything about klipsch, do you know if Eminence Apt-150 were used on klipsch speakers, like a ev t35 (k77) ?
  16. Ok. Nice. I had the Atlas pd-5vh driver, and with the al-3 crossover, i had a loss between something like 4,5 kHz and 6kHz. It s why i am looking for these k55m. They should not going down over 4,3 kHz.
  17. Yes i see k55m, it s only i thought that the original one has a metal plate with the klipsch logo. Ils it a good driver ? Do you know if it World with the al-3 crossover, or the AA crossover ?
  18. Now, i do not know if i will put or not what i have bought to fill my cabinet. In the scala box, the K33E behaves a bit like a compression driver with a horn (sorry for the perhaps false translation), don't you think so ?
  19. hello, a guy is selling this loudspeaker (a pair of this model). Is it a real Klipsch loudspeaker ? Does the Klipsch loudspeaker not have a plate with Klipsch written on it. Is it phenolic diaphragm like the atlas sound pd-5vh ? is it an EV ? other brand ?
  20. egg crat behind the woofer ??? or perhaps haven't we not the same egg protection 😀
