Ya got that right! Hope that back starts feeling better. Ya never know how complex your back really is until things start going wonky with it. No problems getting in and out of bed anymore it's just getting to sleep when I'm all tucked in. Thinking about getting the clock outta there now. Maybe I'll sleep better if I have to roll over and hit the cell for the time. Something's gotta work.

I'd shoot the Indy car races up there and we'd head out exploring I'm an hour south of Cedar Point in Sandusky and you all are right across the lake. Pita of a drive in thru Windsor though. @Full Range there you go w/the Stewart Copeland thingy, You do that and I immediately go to my life long friend Dave Anslow who played forever and eventually spent his life as Copeland's drum tech. David passed in '06 but during our lives we always remained good friends. Yea, he told me the last time he was home he had cancer and it was prolly the last time we'd ever talk, which totally sucked. He'd accepted it but it was so hard to hear him talk about it. I remember the last time I mentioned it in here and I did follow up w/an email to his sister Polly who's a full blown chef living in NJ. She too had his drive because she was the "go to" woman who dressed up the food and prepared the food that a couple major TV networks used to make the "cooking shows" look even better. She now teaches out of her home in New Jersey to all kinds of people for big bucks. Her life is truly non-stop so I didn't want to open another can of worms. Now that I saw your first post of Stewart I'm gonna. That piece had David ALL over it. The beginning was him and it carried throughout the song. Crazy! He even kinda looked like Stewart. lol Now that this year's festival is done it's prolly a good time to ask her about it and see what she has stashed in the way of info. You're a persistant one mate but that song HAD him all over it. Crazy. Now I'm gonna go back and watch it the second time! lol

Beautiful day around here. Talked 95 but it rained most of the night complete with thunder and lightning. Could be a hot one "they" say but I'm not thinkin it's too bad. Blah! Hitting the grill as soon as this Ray Charles lp is done. Burgers, maters and maybe some corn. Then slippin downtown to the Art Park to listen to my atty challenge his son on a lil "Freebird." He's great in court and has been playing since he was a kid. He's got a row of guitars to die for and works 'em all to the max. "The Crazy Gringo's" are the best around imo when they get together. Reminds me a bit of @Travis In Austin on a good day! 😂 Carry on!

Time for a wrap. Then gonna hit the grill before I head downtown to listen to an old friend and his son challenge each other on ZZ Top's "Freebird." That's always a bet between the two. They're a cut above what Duckburg has to offer. He's my atty and trust me he can get it in the courtroom and on stage. He's meticulous and slick AF! Time to chill a bit with Ray.

Nice day today here in the hood so since it's been quite I decided to fire things up a bit. It's been laying here for about a week and I'm ready. I've actually researched him a bit, which I rarely do, but after some thinking about his age and going back to my Motown runs from back in the day I'm wondering. Met a lot of people durning my Roostertail runs to Detroit and I'm wondering if I met this guy when he was a kid. I wasn't really INto Bob Dylan until after my Motown days but knew and liked some of his stuff. Thinking I might have heard him or OF him up there. Remember someone saying there was a guy who did a lot of Dylan like stuff from there but since ole Bob wasn't a fav I pretty much dismissed it. I honestly don't remember but it's crazy if it happened and was this guy. Guess I won't know til later when we bump somewhere. lol 2 paragraphs and time for a flip already? THAT'S insane for me. This thing is over before you know it and it sounds amazing and is so tight in every way. Kudo's to @Full Range for throwing it down a while back. If you ain't got it you better get it. It's ALL about makin money. Hand counting inventory styles and sizes twice before the show, then dealing w/morons, then it's counting the cash and another shirt count before they're done. LONG days, weather & heat, concrete & blacktop? It's crazy. Years ago I hooked up a beautiful local chick w/a job. About 5'3, dark shoulder-length hair, gorgeous, single, funny and steals the show wherever they stop. She works 'em all like a champ. Just bumped a couple months ago and yup she's still at it and still looks fantastic. Place up here in the summer and down in FA in the winter. Last time I saw her at a show she was bent over diggin in a box for a shirt. Naturally I made a comment loud enough that everyone heard it. She turned her head smiling and said, "Why did I KNOW that was you Dave!" Everyone laffed but she loved the moment. Got the dude his t and had dug one out for me. Tossed it to me and said, "Get outta here it's on me. Love you!" I gave her a thankie and told her I loved that view even if it was brief. lol Had the whole gaggle laffin and she loved every second. Did I say she was a tease much? Whew! Ya hit a show somewhere and see that perfect 10 ask if her names Mary! You'll know for sure if she's bent over a box diggin. Guarantee it. MAYBE she'll throw ya a t if it's her. Doubtful but maybe. Tell her ya know me she might charge ya double though. lol
