Diggin around a bit today. Lil Russ Ballard stuck out for some reason... He was a lot better than most thought, at least I think so. Russell Glyn Ballard (born 31 October 1945) is an English singer, musician and songwriter.[1] Originally rising to prominence as the lead singer and guitarist of the band Argent, Ballard became a prolific songwriter and producer by the late 1970s. His compositions "New York Groove", "You Can Do Magic", "Since You Been Gone", "I Surrender", "Liar", "Winning", "I Know There's Something Going On", "Can't Shake Loose", "So You Win Again" and "God Gave Rock and Roll to You" became hits for other artists during the 1970s and 1980s. Then throw in his "Miami Vice" work in the 1990s. A promo copy throw down. lo These 3 from 1971? One amazing album. Hope that got ya home ok. lol

This old curmudgeon has seen my share of pets come and go. The pain when they cross that bridge tears me up EVERY time. When my youngest went to Ohio State I was thrilled when she became a member of the OSU WBB team. Then she hooked up w/a football player and got a dog together? I said no, but they both wanted one. Yup, just as I told her, he would have zero time for a pet if he was ballin. She kept the dog and he hit the NFL. I was the one who always got the call to babysit when the team was on the road or whenever. A Mountain Feist is what they got. Nothin but speed and strength. That little dog owned me dragging me all over the yard on a leash. She didn't like it, she'd chew thru the retractable leash and GO. Now she's been trained but when grandpa hit Phoenix a year ago Kyia knew exactly who I was and went totally ballistic. My daughter said she'd never remember me. HA! My daughter called her a traitor but I just smiled EVERY nite when she crawled on the couch next to me. Ever have a dog's butt in your face when you wake up and not care? I just laffed and held her closer when she turned around. She sleeps right against you at night protecting you. The day will come and I'll be flying into Phoenix to spend some time again. One trip I don't want to make but I know my daughter will want me there. Just sad but it's gonna happen. That we all know too well. I feel your pain gentlemen. Marissa and Kyia on a recent hike in the land of cactus.

THAT sounds like a plan. We had high winds that naturally lit the TV up w/warnings. I spent the evening sp;inning and watching the women play in the NCAA. How in the world did Iowa's Caitlyn Clark score 41 points? Then factor in her being involved in 71% of the offensive plays for Iowa? Gonna have to watch Sunday afternoon and see if she can do it again against LSU. Tonight the men go so my dance card is just about full today. The wind? Yea, it's windy. Power blinked a couple times last nite but stayed on. I don't even wanna check out the tree limbs and junk that blew down. Not gonna be good . Job security for the two grands and another $5 each for pickin em up

Well, that was over too quick. Moving right along... Why not? Just watched LSU WBB beat Va Tech. Next game up? Iowa & S. Carolina. Those NCAA wimmen are ballin out on ESPN and I'm cruisin. Gonna pick up the tempo then we'll see what shakes out! This Clark chickie from Iowa CAN ball out!

Time to go but I had no idea what direction to take. Then @dirtmudd saved the day with his post over in youtube spinning. May as well start at the beginning and see where it leads. ' 53 years and it still sounds amazing. So much so they remastered it. This one's the real deal and they kill it. "Take a pebble" ??? Greg Lake's sooo clean and crisp. Every nuance Talk about setting the hook with a debut album? Yup, they did! Enjoy it.

@MeloManiac you've got it made. I'm sitting here looking at a stack of about 15 lp's and a box set I haven't even unzipped yet. Then 5 8-inch piles to put away. I'm done when I put those away and I think that's why I haven't put them away yet. I don't want the reality to set in when I realize I have no room. I'm done, but there HAS to be some space somewhere. I've gotta think on this one. Might have to sell some but that's doubtful. I NEVER thought I'd see it happen but it did. It wasn't me workin on ya to buy more Meloone it's that Mr KROCK I want. Think syncopated rythmn. 😂

Atta boy! CYA mode always works! G-men just stopped and grabbed the two trash cans full of sticks so that's on the list. Bring the cans in. Oh, btw thanks for the weather. I appreciate 3 days of rain and the 50-60mph winds coming in for the weekend.
