  1. Thirty's right now here. That's nuts. Alllllll week "they" say.
  2. Nothing else to report aside from the fact it's COLD out here w/highs in the 40's.
  3. He actually took the pics I'm sharing. Good guy and I've known him for years. Ffriday was a special kinda day for Joe too. The City of Columbus named the street in front of the Nationwide Arena venue "Joe Walsh Way." So there's that.
  4. Wellllll, my mailman survived the VetsAid w/Joe and the Gang last night. He said Joe actually played second with Dave Grohl after The Breeder's opened the show. Then it was The Black Keys and NIN. They all closed it then en mass on the stage. He said it was an amazing show. Just like back in the day! lol Just another day at the office!
  5. The more rocker's & semi-rockers the better imo. Wait, where are my George Benson lp's. Oh yea, under "B." 😂 @oldtimer is STILL kickin! Miss you brother! Kinda. 😂
  6. Hey, it's youtube spinning right? Time to share the love. 😂 O-H-
  7. Then there's this... When Cheap Trick toured in Japan for the first time in April 1978, they were received with a frenzy reminiscent of Beatlemania.[14] During the tour, Cheap Trick recorded two concerts at the Nippon Budokan. Ten tracks taken from both shows were compiled and released as a live album entitled Cheap Trick at Budokan,[12] which was intended to be exclusive to Japan.
  8. Bowie is always such a nice twist. Thanks for the video. If only more people truly understood him. He was always distant but had a plan. Maybe. lol
  9. Such a great group. Few rides out there better than these guys. Had this old promo copy for a minute or two. Soooo enjoyable.
  10. Time to get a move on or maybe just a groove on. 1970 it is! For now anyway. Poco was an American country rock band originally formed in 1968 after the demise of Buffalo Springfield. Guitarists Richie Furay and Jim Messina, former members of Buffalo Springfield, were joined by multi-instrumentalist Rusty Young, bassist Randy Meisner, and drummer George Grantham. Poco are considered one of the founders of the Southern California country rock sound, and three of the members of the band have been inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as members of other bands (Furay with Buffalo Springfield, Meisner and Schmit with The Eagles). However, the band has yet to receive a nomination since entering eligibility in 1995. Just for you John!

    The Other Discs

There ya go! Thunkin about some vinyl later.
  12. My mailman stopped by w/a case of Heineken for me and thanked me for the Walsh tickets. He's stoked and ready. No wifey so he's takin another guy I know, Joe's home and he's doin the show the right way. Doors @ 430, First band up @ 6 and ending @ 1130. Just like the old day's. Gonna paint the place then strobe people to death is the game plan. The venue they're in is so easily adaptable for sound I'm sure it will sound fantastic. He's a bit stoked himself goin back to his roots for one last ride. I just hope my mailman doesn't go POSTAL! 😂
  13. Might be sweet to YOU! I was beginning to think one sideburn was higher that the other. ONE guy even walked to me. He looked at my right ear then leaned over and checked the other one out. He never said a word. Smiled then said "huh." I said what and he said "oh nuttin." Come on man they ALL crucified me! 😂
  14. My girls did the same thing. One summer I took a nap and realized later they'd painted all my toenails. The best one was when they were into those lil sticky ear rings. Went into work one day and couldn't figure out why I had everyone's interest in the morning meeting. No one said a word all day about anything. My ear itched after lunch so I scratched it. Guess what? Yup, wore them on both ears alllll day.
  15. The back of my head was in "Major League" when they were filming parts of the movie in the old Cleveland Stadium. No clue they were filming that day. "Release" signs were posted at every entrance sooo if ya went in you were fair game. lol We were sitting behind home plate and I saw the camera crew behind me and laffed. Yup, there I was in the movie. Just a cameo appearance. 😂 Naturally one of my favs along with "Happy Gilmore."
  16. He's a great guy and a rocker so he's ready. Think he might take his wife but she doesn't go to many shows with him. We'll see how that sorts out. It's deserved though cause he's lugged everything up here to the door. Should be a few stories after the show so that alone is worth it. lol
  17. ALMOST, pitched my sweeper today. Thing has been working about half maybe. There went 2 hours. lol Decided I'd better die into it when I found out it was $250 new. That thing can suck an egg thru a garden hose if ya know what I mean. 😂 Decided to unload my VetsAid tickets for Sunday evening. Just don't think I could do the walkin and it's really not too smart if I want these toes to heal. Made my mailman a happy boy. Going for 3k each now resale. Joe's ALWAYS been a dam* jinx to me and he knows it. lol Last time I did his solo show it was with Tom Petty in Cbus. Nothing like getting a new pacer lead wire replaced in the morning and stumbling into the venue that nite. Slept a few hours at my youngest's apt then eat and get dropped off at the show. Dumbest thing I ever did. Friends brought me home and dumped me. Perfect! NOT! Now THIS garbage! lol Ole Jinx is gonna hear about it too! lol Might just have to catch the Livestream for $20 and crank it up. Check the link for the rundown, which features Joe & the Gang with Foxy and Dale playing, Dave Grohl, Black Keys, NIN, and The Breeders. All Ohio dudes! 6 PM EST show and will be worth every penny for $20. You also get 48 hours of extended viewing. https://vetsaid.veeps.com/events/f2d6e78d-d48a-4892-9e5b-355db45079a3?irgwc=1&clickid=UJtUBP1LdxyNR3lXany953ZtUkDSUnyS0TiY380&camefrom=CFC_BUYAT_3219313&impradid=3219313&REFERRAL_ID=tmfeedbuyat3219313&wt.mc_id=aff_BUYAT_3219313&utm_source=3219313-Veeps&impradname=Veeps&utm_medium=affiliate&ircid=4272 Remember EVERY PENNY of this show is going to VetsAid. Aside from that, mid 60's maybe and going down there at night. Carry on! lol
  18. I slept right through it. Nothing to see here. Down in the 40's last night. Hit the electric blankie and went into burrito mode. lol Cranked out a "Coke" roast yesterday in the crock pot. Might just last a day or two then I'm going to have to figure out how I'm going to manage the grocery store. Fridge is bare bones and the cupboard is right behind. Freezer still has beef left from last fall and another quarter on the way so that's a plus. No way am I cruisin around in an electric go kart. Just call me hoppy I guess. Go all ya can then go some more to get 'er done. The bill? 😂 Neighbors are piling up the leaves here in Sherwood forest. Since I didn't help out w/the lawn sweeper this year they're learning to appreciate me. lolol
  19. Just a lil food for thought. After thinking for a nano second. YUK! lol
  20. Must be an echo. Dunno. Reminds me of a thought I had last week and saved the post in my wittle brain. Good ole @grasshopper mentioned that he ate everything in a wrap. There I was w/a pack of new wraps laying on the counter. Must been there 6 weeks and I had this flash. Leftover chili in a wrap w/some lettuce, shredded cheese and sour cream??? BOOM! No more chili, no more wraps! Kudo's to ya Bill! lol Don't be struttin, just turn it up! lol
  21. How were the hot dogs? The Samores? 😂 😂
  22. Nice day here today. A bit windy but I'll take it. 60's all next week dropping into the low 40's. So much for the Indian summer around here. Yesterday we had those 40-50mph straight line winds. Classic. lol My yard has no leaves. hahaha Now ya got me thinkin about a crock pot roast instead of soup! Thanks for that! lol
