  1. All original, including the radiators. Cabinets are beat to shit. Didn't really see how bad until I took them outside, after money exchanged hands ...but the idea is to make new ones anyway. Lol like I need another project...what can I say, it's a sickness.
  2. What were they asking for them?
  3. Why in the world would you make it rear ported? Excuse my ignorance, but I don't see any advantage. Only a disadvantage.
  4. I would weld the back using copper wire as "rebar" to make it more solid. If you're not familiar, practice on something else. I used to do this a lot for car body repairs. Then fill the front with JB. Like you suggested in OP. Drilling a small hole at the end of the crack, stops it from spreading.
  5. Absolutely. I have to dig in there anyways to reinforce the cabinets. Should probably do everything at same time. Wonder if Mr crites is up?
  6. What do you think is Klipsch's best subwoofer? New or old
  7. The velodyne's are very nice 👍 good find
  8. It's not my first time in the sandbox. But that's my problem with the guy I'm trying to talk down, on the rc7s. He's using reverb and eBay prices....from 5 years ago, when the economy was booming, in comparison. And he won't budge...sigh
  9. That's what I was thinking. Then I noticed I seen that model for sale and love getting a deal on something rare...oh well
  10. Excuse me for my ignorance. Is the whole ksw line sought after or just the 15? Someone is selling a 10" near me. Should I grab it? I have a 15 and dont "need" it...but
  11. I think I'm going to do the wrap around and see how it sounds.. it's not in an optimal position now, so it might be an improvement. If that doesn't work, I really like the down firing port. Increasing the height of speaker would probably be beneficial anyway..
  12. Good suggestion, but it's in an RV...I'm not drilling holes in the outside wall.
  13. Thank you ❤️ this was exactly what I was looking for.
  14. But then I can't push them up against the wall?....I have them 10" away but need them as close as possible. I'm either going to drill a front port or PVC pipe wrapped around to the front. Or perhaps someone has another suggestion. Mods if this is the wrong forum please move.
  15. I have a pair of very nice condition klf20s. I need them to be right next to a wall and was wondering the best way to do this. I don't really want to drill and patch because their great original condition. Although I don't see myself ever selling these so...? Would a pvc port wrap around, sound just as good? Or something else? Up for suggestions. Thanks
  16. Well that's the plan long term. Hopefully they work well for now. Do you remember what you replaced them with? Values or product number?
  17. Do you have a pair Bob? I'm unsure of what your response means? I hope I have enough posts to join the garage sale forum?
  18. Thanks jjptkd,. I hope to complete it soon. There is a minty, as far as I can tell, pair near me. He's not budging from 500$. I can't justify that considering the klf20s I got for 600$ in very good condition. The klfs have to blow the doors off the rs7s.?
  19. Nice find TasDom! I have a car to ...but 8-10hr round trip...ouch. I'm going to see if they'll ship it?
  20. Hello, I'm looking for a pair of rs7s. Preferably black. In Vegas 89121. Thanks
  21. Thank you TasDom and everyone else for all the help!! Now I know what to be on the lookout for!
  22. Don't know why the other picture loaded on this reply? But... The last picture is my girlfriend's RV. There are speaker cutouts but it rattles horribly. I used heavy duty camera mounts to hang the whole speaker. Adjustable and doesn't rattle.
