Here is a couple pics of my intro system.

DD, I didn't mean that I totally hate her or anything, but I do hear what you are saying. It's just that we are young and we are doing fine right now. I...well...we would just like to have the money for those nice things. I know we can live off of one income because we are doing it right now. All I was saying is that it is going to be nice to have 2 incomes coming in. Hell...we bought a house on one income, so I know we can make it jsut fine on one, and I do not mind providing for us, but it is a drag when you want so much and don't have money. We are staying away from the credit cards. If we don't have the money we don't get it. I am one who saves up for things and then when I have the money I buy. My wife is one who likes to spend every little penny she gets, but I am trying to beat the savings thing into her. I have also read some books about finishing rich, and they say save save save! I wasn't really complaining, but just venting a little frustration... Thanks for the words of advice though...I'll keep them in mind. RJB

Diggs, I just graduated in May also, but I graduated from CMSU. I got a job in Columbia, and I also got married. My wife is getting her masters at MU. I honestly cannot wait till she gets out. I am tired of supporting us!

It sounds kind of complicated. I will think about it though. The problem is that I already have 2 subs hooked up. Is that a problem? How would I hook them up along with my 2 subs? RJB

Mike, LOL....you should just make us somet story that your system is just that good. Thanks for the info though. You have to have an amp to hook them up though? That is a problem. I have none. It would be cool to add them to my couch or something. Right now I have one of my subs just facing the couch so I call it my bass shaker. Where would be a place I could purchase something like that? They look a lot like some stands that I got a a local Klipsch dealer. The only difference is the price is quite a bit higher. I only paid $50 for a pair...are you asking $75 for one or for the set? I might have a friend who would want them. RJB

Why not just buy a kick a** sub and have that be your bass shaker. Are they really that cool? RJB

I hooked my 2 subs up using a "Y" splitter coming out of my sub out port. Both work fine, but I have noticed that one always turns on before the other. Maybe it is the way I have them set up. But that is the way I did it...hope this helps! RJB

Denon all the way

You can get the 3803 for under a grand. Check online and also check at the stores. I have seen them for way under a grand. RJB

I bought my Denon 3802 online and I haven't had any trouble with it. I even have it registered with denon. Just make sure that you aren't buying a reburbished system and you will be fine. I also purchased my speakers online and again they are registered with Klipsch. The company that I bought them from gave me a 3 year warranty and simply told me if I had any problems, just to box them up and ship them back. They would be replaced for free. Lets hope I don't have to do that, but at least they will take care of me. So I would not shy away from buying online, but just watch what you are doing and get high quality equipment. RJB

I have a Denon 3802 and I think that the 2 channel is pretty nice sounding. Maybe it is just my listening environment, but I like how it sounds in 2 channel. There are also a lot of great features in the 3803 model as well. I like the 7.1 option and it had great sound fields you can choose from. The way to go is Denon. RJB

To be honest I have never had any trouble with anything that I bought on EBAY. I just always researched the product before hand. That way I knew exactly what I was getting myself into. As for the playstation 2 adds, those are quite dumb, but they are just trying to make money. If you don't like it then don't click on it. That is just my opinion though. RJB

I hear people talk about these bass shakers attached to their couches and chairs and what not. What are they anyway? Are they subs? Or are they just something that shakes when the sub hits? Just wondering what they are. Thanks RJB
