Let me change that. Here's his site, and you can e-mail Dean from there. Let him know you want the 24K copies of both his discs, UCROSS and TRAVELOGUE. He'll send them, and told me to send him what I thought was fair. Very cool guy as well. I sent him $60 bucks for both including S&H. You will not be disappointed in either disc, although UCROSS is the killer one.

What are the implications of pursuing K Horns without actual corners for them? I am haunted by these speakers and want to go in search of a perfect pair, but am concerned about room dynamics if I do. There's a pic of my HT in Odds&Mods, I'd need to put the KHorns where the RF-7's are. Thoughts? What year and make would others recommend? Also, what would the effect be on my Center and Surrounds as they are today, or would I need to change those as well? Looking for some sage counsel as to whether to begin this pursuit...

I have the 2600 and can't honestly say I notice any audible difference in sound other than it cleared up a hum in my system. That said, it was the very reason I became aware of a significant power problem in my home, and protected my equipment while other appliances got fired. All in all, I like knowing it's there, protecting my gear and showing me the status of my power supply. Invest the money is my 2 cents

How about opinions on the best concert DVD's based on quality of sound and video on the disc?

I think one take away from all this may be that in the exchange of ideas, the truly intelligent should not be drawn in by the rants of the idiotic. When we are, we give them the ability to make us more like them, and in the end only hurt ourselves....in the future we would be better served by ignoring the ignorant rather than trying to argue with them.... You can't argue a stupid person into understanding they are stupid, they haven't evolved yet to a point at which they'd get it. I like this forum, and look forward to having the General back and healthy... My two cents...peace.

DVI pic is better resolution than component, and the DVI connection is for video only per your question. You should also look at Denon players, I auditioned the Marantz, the Yamaha un iversal player, and ended up going with the Denon.

the 2900. Bought the outlaw previous and like the ability to do it that way on the fly versus reconfiguring the denon every time.

you might want to look into DLP. As good as plasma and less $$$. Samsung makes a 50". Also, check out cobaltcable.com for really great cables at a fair price. Good luck!
