  1. To all Klipsch buyers- If you live anywhere near Canada, find the authorized Klipsch dealer there and buy there. The exchange rate continues to hold around $1.00US =$1.50CAN!!!! And you get your taxes back 15% when you cross back over the border. My local Klipsch guys could not compete with the currency exchange/economic issues which fluctuate on a daily basis. By the way, Canadians love US dollars especially if CASH. Thumbs down to poorly stocked, non-negotiating dealers. On a positive note every Klipsch dealer I've been to has always been very knowledgable regarding Klipsch products.
  2. I've bought a Marantz SR-8000 and a Klipsch KSW-15 in two separte transactions at Uncle's since July '00 and both went flawless and came double-boxed. Andrew Kent gets my thumbs up.
  3. Mustang6----Jan 16th, 2001? Uh, are you sure about the date?
  4. Todd B & TV--I have the KSW-15 running up front with KLF-30's and KLF-C7 and a KSW-100 in the rear running with KSP-S6's......What is the price for the 20-39PC? And will it outperform the KSW-15 alone? If so, will it outperform the output I am getting with my KSW-100 and KSW-15 combined. TV--Finally, do all "Mainstream" Subs have this "Clampdown" feature??? How discouraging if they do. Does Klipsch do this to their subs also?? I think my next sub will be an SVS based on all the positive feedback here. Thanks for helping an aspiring audiophile/ HT NUT. 5. For Sale-- KLF 30's , KLF-C7, KSP-S6's and KSW-15 Only 4 months old and perfect condition, will trade even up for new Hybrid Legends and that RSW-15....... OK, OK I'll throw in $1,000. "Good things come to those who wait" Thanks for the review George C, we all have been dying to see/hear them...I can't wait.
  6. Swede- I have a brand new pair of KLF-30's, what can I expect by dampening the back side of the horns (Mid and tweeter). Is this something that Klipsch would agree with doing and is just not done at the factory due to cost/benefit reasons. I am very interested in any thoughts or opinions on this. I work for an adhesive/sealant company and we make/sell sound deadening patches and underbody coatings for the automotive industry. These materials provide incredible dampening characteristics. They are very flexible and stick to anything. Should I just pull the tweet and mid horns out of the front and then apply these on the backside (non-viewable) surface??? What will this do to that in your face PWK Horn sound that I love??? Will my speakers now sound like a conventional driver? Thanks, Brett
  7. Dan, keep posting for the C6 Center, there are many floating around on this BB. You probably already got some private messages or e-mails. Good luck, I too was in the market for the C6 but I decide on the Legends KLF-20's, C7, KSW-15 and S6 surrounds. I was very impressed with the BASS form the 400's WOW. Good luck.
