chickey
T-Man, Nice set-up, very clean. And you've cracked the code on a problem that plagues all us Klipsch afficiandos - the Wife Acceptance Factor (WAF). The simple, discrete, but effective - doily! OK, where's the nearest Linens and Things???? Nice job and nice system. Regards, C ------------------ My System
eq_shadimar
Looks great! I bet it sounds great too. So how do you like the SVS? t-man
Yea, the wife had some inspiration to the room obviously. The doilie helped her accept that large center a bit better. Things do sound great now, and I was concerned with my rear speaker placement. A bit close to the ceiling, and a bit far back. I think I would prefer more of a side mount solution, but it still sounds pretty good. I don't get as good of L/R rear separation with this layout. I'm glad I have direct radiating speakers, though. The SVS is great. I haven't really tested it out too much though yet. The extension down low really is amazing. No distortion with anything I've given it so far. Can't wait for the wife to take the baby out so I can stretch it's legs a little.
fini
I love how you've disguised that rear Klipschorn to look like a corner hutch! Ingeneous! And if you ever have any horn-haters over, and they complain about "ringing", you just tell 'em it's the phone! Good job, t-man! fini
HornEd
That settles it... I am going to have to find myself another doily dispenser. Wow, T-man, congrats to you and the expectant one, instead of giving your guests the feeling that they are about to be assaulted by horns, woofers and bottom-dwellers... you make it look like "Home-Sweet-Theater!" You have reminded me that man doth not live by horns alone! I had some other nice things to say, but I think I better go out looking... then again, I don't think I remember where to look HornEd PS: Sound can be profound... but a wife is a life!
