Tractrix horn calculator #3

Thanks again to JC.

These documents follow through on the whole process of the design from begining to end. The first document is a Word document that explains the process in writing, with two diagrams provided by JC. The second document is the Excel spreadsheet file/program for the calculations - modified to make it easier to understand how to go from design to plot. If you right click on these links, you can probably choose to open them in a new window.

The construction essay will have to wait for another time. Maybe Gothover will do that?

Does PD5VH would behave better on tractrix with 1'' inch entry horn or it could be used on 2'' inch entry horn. I don't know how to make proper horn. Can build in universal for 2'' and 1'' drivers (2'' inch entry horn)? Or better way is to build 1'' inch horn for 1'' driver?

Greg,

The links you have posted on this thread no longer work. Would it be possible to get the information? I am very interested in building a set ot tractrix horns. Your time and response is appreciated.

One that I would look a little further into is this one

The 8th post down has an attachment that may help, I didn't download it, I know I have pulled one off of this site and I do not remember if this was the topic or not.

Here is another that may help.
