jcutrone
$90 seems a little steep for stands on Klipsch.com. Anyone know a cheaper alternative that will work with the Promedias? Id rather have stands then mounting brackets.
ogAkira
Like some of the guys suggested in the past, some PVC pipe and duct tape will do nicely or you can check this out Here

cyclone
I also found the $90-100 price too steep for dedicated speaker stands. I went to Radio Shack and picked up a couple of microphone stands. I liked the ones with the heavy base to them and the total package was black. Also, you can get two surface mounted microphone adapters which has the female threads (5/8-27) to screw onto the male threads of the microphone stands. Radio Shack only had these adapter plates with the male threads. You could find them at any reputable audio store. And finally, you could bolt a plate to this with your speakers mounted to it. The stands cost 19.99 each with each adapter plate costing about 3 bucks. The total price would be a lot less than 90-100 dollars. You should save about 50-60 bucks.
