cokid
Has anyone had a B&K 507? If you have, what did you think of it ?
willland
I don't have one but I looked at one for sale at a pawn shop the other day. Way too expensive for a pawn shop($1600.00). I own a 200w 3 channel B&K amp and am very happy with the sound. If the 507 has a similar amp section then I think you will be pleased. Take a look at this review. http://www.avguide.com/review/bk-avr-507-series-2-low-key-and-high-octane Bill
bhenry
No experience with the 507, but I have the Reference 50 pre amp and the Reference 200.5 amp and I couldn't be happier. Awsome sound and build quality. Plus it's Made In The USA!
el jopez
Not familiar with 507, however owning the Ref 50, and other B&K amps, I can state they rock! You can get great deals right now on the used market; its sad how fast these things have dropped in value with the economy and with 'new' tech demands of the yuppie generation. If it doesn't say iPod or HDMI, it isn't good.
cokid
Thanks everyone, I have read a lot of reviews on the 507. One review said as close to seperates as you can get. They say it uses the same pre amp as the ref 50.
el jopez
Absolutley, the 507 is merely the Ref 50 and Ref 200.7 amp in one chassis; its an exceptional deal at todays prices. Processors change, however good amps last forever (close enough atleast).
