Pgh-K
Who is the most reliable supplier of new LP's now-a-days?
gmc
I don't know the answer to your question, but J&R has 2,594 titles on vinyl listed on their site, and of the several pages I looked through, they all said "In Stock". I've never ordered music from them, so I don't know if you'll end up with a bunch of back orders, or not. http://www.jr.com/category/music/n/4294857003/sort-by-Artist-0/
Dennie
Here are a couple I use: Acoustic Sounds Music Direct Elusive Disc Oh and Welcome! You'll find quite a few of us are into vinyl! [] Dennie
jamesV
I'll second the three that Dennie mentioned. I have purchased from Music Direct and Elusive Disc. You also might want to check out Amazon, but make sure you are buying from Amazon or a reliable dealer. James
garymd
You can buy directly from Rhino for many of the titles you'll find at the other retailers. No discount although they will give you free shipping on orders over $50. Acoustic Sounds has a number of reissues they sell under their own name brand (Analogue Productions) and most are very well done (engineered by Steve Hoffman & Co. at RTI). This is in addition to the plethora of other reissue labels they market such as Mobile Fidelity, Classic Records, etc. Trust me, this can become more expensive than buying gear. If you're doing this on a budget, check out Elusive Disc's Scratch & Dent section for discounts on the more expensive LPs or look for the OJC label (Original Jazz Classics - about $10/LP) or other less expensive reissues. I don't know off the top of my head what the less expensive rock labels are but they're out there.
fini
This reminds me, Saturday the 18th is national Record Store Day. I know my local vinyl stores (Backdoor Disc, The Last Record Store) will be doing specials (discounts, in-store bands, etc.). Check out the link to find one near you!
