derik
i'm planning on getting a klipsch synergy series system and i'm thinking about a denon avr 2802. Would this be a good set up?
Diggs
Sounds good to me. Have you looked at the Outlaw 1050 though? Only $499 and it's 6.1 too. ------------------ Denon AVR-2800 KG-4 mains (too bad the rest of my speakers aren't this good) Polk C-175 center (it's ok) Infinity RS-10 Surrounds (suck) Audiosource SW-15 subwoofer (excellent sub for it's price) Pioneer DV333 DVD Sony 5 disc CD player All in a 12x12 apartment bedroom. soundog
And even better all 6 channels sound great. It made Stereophile's Guide to Home Theater list along with 8 other A/V receivers - all the others were priced 5 to over 7 times higher than the 1050. Sterophiles comment on the 1050: "A lot for a very little. What more do you need to know"? ------------------ Soundog's HT Systems
zandern
I have the Denon 2802 and I love it. Does everything I want and thensome. Sounds clear, works awesome for music or movies. I plan on getting the RF3 II's very soon and everyone in this forum tells me that the Denon and Klipsch match up great. You will love this receiver and its ease of use. jeffgeorge
I really like my 2801, which is similar to the 2802. Mine is hooked up to the Reference line, but would also sound very good with the Synergy series I am sure. ------------------ RF-3's : mains RC-3 : center RS-3's : surrounds KSW-12: subwoofer Receiver: Denon 2801 DVD: Panasonic DVD-A120 CD: Yamaha CDC-765 Cables: Tributaries Sat Receiver: Hughes Direct-TV DD5.1 ------------------------- Family room: RB-5's (Mahogony) Receiver: Denon AVR-2000 (2ch.)
