My local klipsch dealer has khorns on the showroom floor, but you have to show up with cash to hear them. They look good though.

My dad is the one that introduced me to Klipsch, so I know it never ends. When I bought my second pair of Klipsch speakers this weekend, my girlfriend said, "So are you done now?" I had a hard time coming up with an answer for that one. I hope she'll be as understanding with my Klipsch addiction as my step mom has been with my dad's.

I have been waiting for some time now to get a digital receiver. Seeing that I am a student trying to pay my way through school, and not to mention that I will settle for no less than Klipsch, it has taken a while. Anyway, I found a Denon AVR-87 (looks similar to the 1803) and it should be on its way soon. As of now, I will be using RF-3's and SB-1's as mains and surrounds. Still need to get the RC-3 and eventually a sub. The room they will be in is about 12x20, a perfect rectangle with perfect corners. I just wanted to share the excitement with all of you since I have been jealous reading about all your cool stuff for so long. Derik

I don't think I want to spend the money to upgrade the one I have now. I would rather just save it for a new one. I'm looking for something in the near $200 or under range. The best I can get for that.

is that a website? i couldn't find anything if it is.

I bought a new sony turntable about a year ago for $100 and now regret it (I've learned a lot since then), so I'm now looking for a new one. I've seen some good looking technics turntables on e-bay, but don't really know much about them. It seems that most of them are for dj-ing, which I will not be doing, just listening to vinyl. Does anybody have any input or suggestions?

Thanks for the advice. I think I will hold off until I find a good deal on an RC-3.

I know that, i was just wondering if it would be a good match since it is so much cheeper.

I have been seeing the ksf c5 center channel on e-bay and was wondering if it was a good match for my rf3s. I would appreciate any advice. Also, is $200 a good deal for one of these? I believe it is used but in good condition. Thanks.

What exactly do you mean by "stand alone" dvd player. I think mine is. Its a sony 5 disk, not in my computer.

What the heck happened to the backs of these K-horns!

OK, I can't figure out how to get audio from my dvd player using an optical cable (and a soundblaster audigy platinum 2), and when I use rca's, I get audio, but a loud buzzing noise in the background. However, I don't get this noise when using the rca's with my cd player and I can use the optical on the cd player. Does anybody know how to fix either of these problems?

I'm looking for classic rock and heavy metal mostly. Some rare, some common, not too expensive.

I've been having trouble finding a good place to buy vinyl online. There are no good dealers that I know of around me. Does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks for any input.

I purchased the Zwan limited edition cd the day it came out. I was kind of disapointed. I guess I wasn't expecting such happy music from x-Smashing Pumpkins members. Good music, just not my style.

Why would you read when you can just watch the movie?

The audigy 2 cards support dts??? I have one and I was under the impression that it only supported thx and dd. I don't see anything on the box about dts. It would be great if it actually does support it. Even better than I thought it was.

The soundcard supports 6.1. With my 4.1 system, there is still one output in the back not being used. I will plug the 2.1's into that. I've seen posts where people have done it before.

I have an audigy 2 platinum soundcard and pm 4.1s. I would like to upgrade it to a 6.1 system by getting the 2.1 (actually 6.2 I guess), however, they are only 35 watts per channel instead of 50 like the 4.1s. Would this make a big difference even if I synchronized the volume, or should i just go with another 4.1 system?

I was just wondering if there is any way to use my promedia sub from my 4.1s on my home theater system until i get a real sub. Does anybody know if this is possible and how to do it? Thanks.

I bought the 4.1s about two months ago. I have had no problems at all. I can't tell that they are not brand new. No cosmetic defects, or any other kind. I also have not experienced distortion at low volumes. I am completely happy with my purchase.
