SWL
To all of you who have had this done........To what degree would you say the mod did for reducing the brightness or harshness of the RF-7? Would you say: A. It reduced it.....but some brightness still exists. B. It eliminated it completely. C. It eliminated it completely and actually has a warmer sound than without the mod. D. It didn't really make any significant difference. E. It changed my life. Thanks guys, Scott.
dbossa
My RF-7's sounded a bit bright/harsh for my taste and Dean has my crossovers as we speak. I'll be getting them back by the end of this week and will post my results.

pierceb
I would vote A. Although it is a night and day difference. They still sound a bit bright on some music, but I think the sound is overall more balanced. The top end is also much more clear (wait until you hear drums and cymbals!). I do struggle a bit with getting a focused image now though. I know my speaker placement isn't the best, but now the music sometimes sounds a bit confused/muddled, particularly with vocals. Tough to say what the biggest differences between the old and new are anymore, I kind of forget what they used to sound like. -PB
