Harmon Kardon and KG's.....

SWL

Recommended Posts

Got my vintage Harmon Kardon 430 receiver ($100.00) and KG 3.2's ($300.00) outside on the patio today. Playing some cd's that I wouldn't dare play on my main system and they sound great!!

35 watt receiver......60 watt speakers.......you'd never know it, though. Life is good. [:D]

Good for you SWL! I keep wanting to take my La Scala's out back on to the patio, but they are just a little too heavy to move comfortably. I have a Sanyo a2000 that would power them nicely. But I have yet to do it.

Enjoy your day of Patio Music! I bet it sounds great!

Yeah, LaScala's would be tuff to move. That's what is really nice about these KG's......they're small and light.....easy to carry in and out of the house. They're about 30 feet apart and the power from the 430 really pumps out the bass. No sub needed. I used to take my RB-35's out there with dual 15" Velodyne subs. That gets to be a hassle moving those big subs around.

I actually enjoy sitting out in the yard listening just as much....if not more.....than my own living room. Beautiful weather, tunes and a couple cold ones is just what the doctor ordered!! [:D]
