BobRiff
Has anyone seen/heard the just released Neil Diamond DVD? 5.1? Sound quality? The 35 year old CD sure sounded good. Money is tight; I'd hate to waste my $12.
Coytee
DTV played it last night in HD. I taped it. I've seen him over the years....probably more than 20 times. Other than the typical Sweet Caroline, Cracklin Rosie, I Am, I Said... that I've heard ad nausium... the recording DID seem to be nicely done. I'd put it this way and this is how I'm going to approach it... What tracks are on the DVD? If I want to hear some of them after clicking through some of the standards, I'll buy it. If I don't like the fillers then I won't. It did sound good last night over the Jubilees
BobRiff
I understand that the CBS special last night was "excerpted" from the DVD. I'd like to rent it from Netflix before buying it, but they don't list it as available. Looks like there are 28 tracks on the DVD, lots of the old standbys with a few newer ones mixed in. Guess I'll have to pony up the $12 and check it out for myself.

russ69
Bob, Skip the new DVD, the old Greek Theater show was THE ONE to have. It's not available on DVD as far as I know but the original recording is the masterwork. Thanx, Russ
