rb5 dent

have had these rb5 for a while and i just accidently dented the driver..very minimal , but it still bothers me to see it..

klipsch said it will cost 60 bucks for a driver replacement..but my question is, will this new driver sound as good as my other old one since its been broken in..

And is it worth spending the 60 bucks or am I OCD.

if it is not torn, you should be fine...........save your money put the covers on the speakers and " forget about it"..................

Are you talking about a dent in the dust cover? Suck it out with a vacuum cleaner hose...

It won't cause any sonic difference.

Its 100% cosmetic but if you're really OCD about it contact Michael Colter - he's got RB-5 woofers for $25 @.

Don't forget to wash your hands every 10 minutes.

if you dent or wrinkle the metal cone it will cause a weak point that might eventually worsen and tear with high power use.

dust cap- no biggie

hit me, I've still got a couple woofies here at that price.

A piece of tape will usually help pull out a dust cap dent, if thats what you have.
