Bigdnfay1
Hi All, This may be a stupid question, so here goes..... I just aquired a pair of JBL 2445j (16 ohm) drivers. Can I replace the 16 ohm diaphrams with 8 ohm diaphrams and get 8 ohm operation without any adverse effects? Thanks BigD

djk
If you feel like spending the $$$ to change to 8R, buy the D8R2450SL, it's only a few $$ more.

Regarding the above suggestion: Note that the recommendation is for the JBL replacements. I would not try to substitute after-market replacements for those (those made for the 2450 driver). The after-market units are tempting since they can be considerably less expensive. Unfortunately the quality may not be comparable.
