trex83
I know its a struggle to revive an old thread. But any updates would be appreciated. I have a pair of Tangent 400 and some hands and table saw waiting to be used... Thanks Trex83
moray james
why don`t you simply brace and stiffen your Tangent cabinets. It is unlikely you will change the cabinet vloune by more than ten percent which is not an issue. If you want to go nuts get some of the cool reflex vents which have the large radius on both sides. I dont see building a brand new cabinet as getting much extra. This would be much faster and far less expensive. You can opt for a fine veneer job if you are well pleased with the results.Best regards Moray James.
trex83
Good idea, saw the same recommendation somwhere else about the bracing. Thanks
Jsaint
Someone should make a Heresy based center swap out the 12" and use a pair of 8" accordion surround pro drivers instead so it can fit under a tv.. If I had the parts would have built it already. Then when I finally get to it there will be a good design... hehe
